Static-X was always a not-so-guilty guilty pleasure for me ever since a Spoony Experiment video randomly referenced them; Wayne Static was obviously the main draw, but the rest of the band I enjoyed a lot and I found Xero to be a solid replacement for Wayne, helped by the fact that they made their last album basically an entire homage to Wayne in many ways. They're pretty underrated, honestly, some of the better stuff to come out of that era and that genre.

I started throat singing in the 1990s. I tend to blend them naturally. My voice is deep. Has been forever. Like low B on a bass guitar. I feel my whole core vibrate. Edsel Dope (New Singer Xero)of the band Dope joined a few years back, was one of Wayne's (original singer who died)closest friends and is one of the closest ones to mimic Wayne's style. They have been trying to keep Edsel as the character of Xero a secret....but we all knew who it was in the beginning, due to his neck tattoo.

This song is all Xero, if people read the song credits...Wayne isn't featured in this track

Would it be a cool video idea to go back and do an analysis of Wayne's vocals? Skinny Man and The Enemy are my favourites

Static-X Nu Metal? I've heard them described as industrial, synth, and disco metal, but never nu metal. 😂 I understand the association though since I was listening to them at the same time as those bands in the 90s. I need to check out their new stuff because this song is awesome!

Maybe someone can correct me on this but I believe Xero hasn't provided vocals on the Regeneration albums but performs them live. My understanding is that Wayne's final vocal performances are what's being used here. Maybe it's a combination? Whatever the case, I wanted to point this out.

I could swear that the newer Static X albums are still using Wayne Static's vocals from some material he recorded before he died. Xero/Edsel Dope is doing the vocals for live tracks (obviously)

So from my understanding the vocals on the song are actually Wayne Static, these new songs they have been releasing are unreleased material he wrote and recorded, and live they are performed by Xero (Edsel Dope from Dope, unless they have someone new under the mask), people figured out it was Edsel because of a neck tattoo that he has that the original Xero mask didn't cover

Actually, though the majority of the album does have Wayne in it,this one is one of the (few?) songs that is all Xero.

Quick question. Everyone says diaphragm, belly, poop muscles, but what about ribs? To me it feels like im using my ribs to expand/inhale and contract/exhale…is that safe or should i try more for the diaphragm/lower stomach?
