Sunrise Tours shows off history as time ticks down for Pimlico

Horse racing enthusiasts can see picturesque sunrises at Pimlico Race Course this week. In a few days, the stands will be filled with people for the 149th Preakness Stakes. And, from 6-9 a.m. Tuesday through Friday, visitors to Pimlico can take a tour of the historic grounds. The Sunrise Tours begin where the races start at the oldest electric gate in horse racing. Electric gates have been used at Pimlico since 1940.
