BBC2 idents 2009-2014

In June 2009, BBC2's Window on the World idents were given a somewhat ham-fisted refresh, when the teal box was moved from the left-hand side, where it was clearly designed to be situated, across to the right. As a result, to avoid clashing with the '2', the box was now faded out by the time the main symbol was in position - except on Mirror where it faded in as before.
This compilation is comprised of each of these updated idents, followed by two examples of the next refresh from 2013, which involved the replacement of the idents' soundtracks.

I love these idents. Along with the 90’s and early 00’s, these were the best eras of BBC2 in my opinion. Nostalgia for this millennial!
