      I need to learn my high notes better...I am working on it. I have improved a lot from when I first started though.

    This is so beautiful! All of my friends always rip on French horns, since that’s what I play, and they say that they don’t sound good. I never had doubts, but after watching this video, you literally could never convince me that French Horn is not the most beautiful instrument ever when played well. You just can’t. I’ve been playing French Horn almost 5 years and I haven’t once regretted it. This is amazing!

    french horn squad! currently about to start marching band in high school I've been playing french horn for about three years. Listening to your covers makes me realize just how awesome french horn is, keep it up!

      Look up Sarah Willis hand position. I copy hers exactly. Nice, firm and open. For recording, I alter it slightly but that is a different story.

    Wow I could eat those high As for breakfast lunch and dinner, then spit them back out and hand them back to you so you could play them again. I aspire to have tone and smoothness like yours. I haven’t even heard the original, but now I don’t need to. The best version is right here

    How do I hit lower notes cleanly? I have problem tounging them and they sound really muddy. My high/ alto register is fine.

    I have trouble keeping my mouthpiece up, any advice? When its low I cant hit the high notes. When the mouthpiece is high I cant hit the low notes. Its really frustrating. Bcs my low notes are pretty good, I can hit a D pretty good. Im fifteen btw so idk if its just that im not experienced enough...

      It's really hard to say from not seeing you in person. But maaaaybe the horn is too loose from your face. DO NOT squish the horn on your face, but it shouldn't be sliding around everywhere. I would maybe find a horn teacher in your area to help you fix this asap!
