    Kodama also goes infinite with necrobloom (or any card that makes a token on landfall trigger) and a bounce land.
    Land ETB's, use bounce land trigger to bounce itself back to hand, Token ETB's, Kodama trigger on token, use kodama trigger to put bounce land in play, repeat infinitly. The token is 0 mana cost and so is a land which is why this works

    I played against a Necrobloom player and his deck was pretty fire that I think it scarred me for life. He had some creatures Ive never seen before like Blossoming Tortoise that milled 3 then get a land back tapped, some creature that functioned like Astral Slide to remove problematic creatures from play, another creature that allowed him to draw off of dredge activations, he also had Astral Slide and cycle lands. His wincon was to get to Syr Conrad and looped discarding a creature to kill the table. It was pretty interesting to watch. I think I might build a more conservative Nadu, Winged Wisdom deck to fight him land to land.

    This deck is really cool, and im trying to play around with the deck you provided and try to lower its price. It seems that it will inevitably be slower, and a tad bit weaker (some of the lands staples are really expensive still, but its still fun to pilot it)
    Managed to have your list and its currently around $170 without the sideboard (i wanted to make it $100 but its tough haha)
    a lot of cards that are approaching $10 each and the mdfcs i had to sadly cut because its just tough to keep them on.
    Some land tutors like that one drop had to go, too. (and some cards i already have laying around i slot in, too)
    Added in Tiller Engine as a way to untap other lands that enter tapped, since Amulet of Vigor is gone for now.
    It got mentioned in the comments that the desert lands that deal damage combos with Analyst, sac outlet for lands (and untappers), to close out games.
    I feel like I'm doing it wrong, and i might have to come back to it at a later date because brewing energy is gone, but do you think its possible to make something similar to the spirit of the list you have and keep it around $100 - $150, or would i have to pivot to a gameplan that's suited to the budget (Maybe tokens and overruning my opponents)

      @sashajelten Před 2 měsíci

      I'm glad you dig the brew.
      In general similar effects should be swapped 1 for 1 (duals for tapped duals, fetches for tapped fetches, extra land drop cards for extra land drop cards). If there isn't a similar effect in the sideboard, then you can just choose whatever one seems sweet while keeping the land count relatively consistent. There are a few too many cards that are really important/good in the deck that wouldn't fit in a budget list. Just play as many of the cards as you can and swap out cards for the ones you can't. There will be more lists in the future that will make more sense to have clear budget versions :)

    • @ty_does
      @ty_does Před 3 měsíci +1

      Actually plains is a super type, so duals and stuff like the new surveil lands actually count for it. Having 2 duals, 2 shocks, 2 surveil lands, and a single plains gets you there, and I know that sounds like a lot to ask but the deck is actively tutoring for lands to make it happen, so it will work well

    • @contrakt666
      @contrakt666 Před 3 měsíci +1

      @@ty_does soo a quick google search says ure wrong, only original dual lands (expensive ones) are counted as both. most dual and utility lands just lands so they dont count for the plains (forest island etc)
      It needs to say PLAINS on the middle text so "Land - Plains " or "basic land - plains" or in case of dual land "land - swamp plains" etc
      so after counting the lands in his deck he has 8 lands that count towards plains. if you count/remove expensive dual lands (for plains) he hits like 13.

    • @Ca1mdownplz
      @Ca1mdownplz Před 3 měsíci +3

      @@contrakt666 This is a good question. Usually you'd play Emeria in a mono-white deck so it'd be easier to get to 7 plains, but we have so many ways to get specific lands out of our deck and replay lands from the graveyard, that this deck is able to pull it off without too much work. Emeria's effect is so strong that we felt it was worth an inclusion as a utility land.
      Just FYI, Plains is not a supertype (Snow, Basic, and Legendary are supertypes), it's just a basic land type that non basic lands can have, but @ty_does is right about the duals, shocks, and surveil lands being examples of this. Any of our fetch lands will get us more of these lands that count as plains, so getting 7 of them doesn't take that much work with the amount of land recursion this deck has. There are 10 lands in the base deck that have the "plains" type on them (the original dual lands have that information in their text box rather than on their type line because that concept didn't exists when they were printed).

Since Dark Depths counters are put on it as it enters, copying it with an effect that isn't entering will give you a copy of Dark Depths with zero counters on it. As an example something that wouldn't work as well, if you made a copy of Dark Depths with Vesuva, then it would be "entering as" Dark Depths, meaning it would enter with the counters. Not sure to understand the deck here. There is only 1 card draw i think in the deck, and 3 target removal. What's the wincon? Also, I don't see how your zombies are controlling the board. They would be with a sac outlet and a grave pact for example, or even an aura shard.

    • @nicplz
      @nicplz  Před 3 měsíci

      “Card draw” isn’t important but dredging is. But the cycle lands offer a ton of flexibility to dredge or draw cards if need be. Those cycle lands keep coming back to hand and it turns into an engine to fuel the deck.
      Controlling the deck with zombies is to have board control by going wide. This deck can tutor up lands so quick and then sac them to Westvale Abbey. Which is a wincon. Or even better, a Dark Depth combo for Margit Lage. Then start smacking people with it.

      @@nicplz You only have your commander to dredge. I do get the idea, but there are only 4 cycle lands and 6 lands tutors. If you're going wild, including cards like beastmaster ascension would help, as the 2/2 by themself are quite weak. Would love to see how it actually plays though!

      There are 11 fetchable plains in the deck. And given we're running so many fetches and tutors it's fairly easy to achieve towards the mid to late game.

      @@nicplz easily The Gitrog Monster
      So so so many ways to tutor it out as a "secret commander" and turning all your lands into Dakmor Salvage seems incredible.
      I've always loved Gitrog but problem tend to know when to interact but with white we get Silence for our big "koziland" turn which is sick.
      I'll definitely be building it to just turbo out a Frog ASAP with Natural Order, GSZ, etc.
