In this video we go through how to remove and fit a front wheel bearing in a 2007 Toyota auris
Some handy tips and tricks in the video
In a lot of cases when you go over 40 miles an hour you will hear a rumble the faster you go the louder the rumble gets this can indicate your wheel bearing is worn or going you want to sort your wheel bearing out as soon as you can as it can cause damage to other components in your car suspension parts and tyres which will end up costing you a lot more money in the long-run preventive maintenance is the key - Auta a dopravní prostředky
Those are indeed very easy to replace...
I remember when I did my 2000 Mercedes E class rear bearing... what a PITA!
Hammer, grinder...
Good video!
lmsvvavr thanks mate
@@bodgitandleggitgarage Where do you get the Factory bearing. Is it KOYO/Seiko Bearing or SKF? I am afraid to buy after market especially soft Chinese steel.
Well you can lump me in with the jealous ones with the ease of that hub replacement! damn, you make it look easy! Thanks for the video Leon.
I am an idiot when it comes to cars, repairs, etc…but I really enjoy your videos. Great content and really engaging, great job.
Absolute brilliant video and really like your filming style and presenting.
Thanks for uploading.
Ryan Cooper thanks a lot mate much appreciated
Great videos, enjoy watching every minute, love the dog in the background. Keep up the great content.
thanks mate
I never saw anyone so happy as when that rotor came off. I thought that was great. You have some good commentary but the grunt factor was priceless.
wyattoneable hahah thank mate
great video leon and i love the use of the birmingham screw driver
Paul Mayou 😂😂😂😂
Another great video Leon.👍👍
nk Kelly thanks mate
That was a rugged grunt , you grunt better than any other non grunting automotive channel. Sooooorted 👍👍🍺🍺
STEVE ROB REVIEWS 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 thanks for noticing it deserve more recognition🤣🤣😋

Vdubs 60 thanks mate
Can't believe you're wearing such a nice jacket to work!
Thomas EXOVCDS when you make the money idea you have to spend it somewhere😁😁😁
LOL.
You rattling up that hub nut and then saying factory spec aftewards needs to be turned into an internet meme / video clip. Brilliant!!!!!!
furby brera 😂😂😂😂
I remember that i had to cut a disc off once! I wish the factory used a little something on hub face to prevent corrosion!
You've only got a small one but you make the most of it 😂 hammer that is.
Looked too rusty for me, I only have to look at things for them to fall out over here
You are so mean.
Badgertronix 🤣🤣🤣🤣😋😋
Leon, you should patent that torque wrench with the multiple grunt sounds. I'm sure you'll make a fortune :)
stuzman 🤣🤣🤣🤣
It's been a while since a wheel bearing came out that nice for me...damn rust. I did get a good laugh out of this video. That's how you get them jealous 😂 Ivan in sandals and shirtless... doesn't get any better than that .👍
The mech a nic 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
6:07 seeing this while doing my homework😂😂
xXBAKERXx 55 sorted!!!! I was never one for homework too stupid good to see you're doing it lol
Most rotors can come off that way and easy. But I have dealt with some where big nasty does need to come out. Salt and metal are not nice to each other here in Michigan!
Nick rather you than me😁😁😉😉
It's not quite as Eric O because if I am not mistaken he uses some grease between some parts to slow down the rust.
But anyway nice video mister Leon... lol.
Robin De Wit lol
Little grunt ,medium grunt and a leon grunt haha 🤣
scouse diy mechanic 😂😂😂😂
Love to torque specs 😂 going to have to pinch this off you med grunt
hahahaha
I have the normal bearing on my yaris but it's £65 so is this because it has an integrated sensor ring
👍 ! good video!
The Zeeuw thanks mate
Eric and Ivan should come to Costa Rica for a while. We don't even know what rust is.
chungaleta1234 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Great video! Typo in the title m8 ;)
Ross Kuipers thanks for letting me know mate
Everyone will be Trading in there car's for a Toyota now little hammer and Largish Gruntish lol😊Sorted......All the very best wishes for Christmas and New Year to you and your the Family Leon Have a Gooden. .
Steve Jones thanks mate much appreciated Happy Christmas to you and yours too
I would love to laugh but the first set of pads and discs I changed on my GF's old Toyota Aygo took a lot of work to break the discs free of the hub. A good solid grunt is enough torque for anyone! ;-)
James Swinyard lol thanks mate
You should enter the Cumbrian Gurning competition you should win lol
robert hesse 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
You put the FT back into foot pounds. Merry Xmas from 'Straylia'.
tecnaman Merry Christmas from US to
sorted
When replacing everything what is the torque spec for the center nut? I can't find the factory specs could you please help
Hi I've done a video on torque settings before and this is a heavy grunt lol all joking aside when you work in a garage for a long time you really do not use Talk second only on certain parts of the engine you just get used to it so unfortunately I cannot tell you the proper torque settings as I don't use them and never had an issue
Fantastic, Scotty you are the man! ooopsss wrong channel my bad. lol
Ozzstar 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Scotty will of had it done in 5 minutes start to finish, and on the floor with no hydraulic lift. Or the warmth or a nice garage. ;-) Only joking Leon
Let the fun & games begin but I'd fix your title b/c what is a breaing.
Hayward's Automotive hahaha It's fix now
I know money always comes into it however it just seems such a shame that you've done the labour to remove those discs to change the wheel bearings that you couldn't fit the new ones at the same time that surely would have saved the customer money in the long run great video thank you
Rob Taylor I hear what you're saying and agree but like you said it all comes down to money at the end of the day
did you train as a electrician and a mechanic bcos u said u done both in your first vid just curious?
sweetest scientist auto electrician and mechanic
how many km or miles did this car have?
skoda recommend to replace brake fluid every two years, that seems excessive to me what are your thoughts and surely the brake fluid is still usable after two years? thanks.
for me mate on my car i do it every year
@@bodgitandleggitgarage okay sounds good too me cheers😁👍
@@scottvstrom 💪👍💪
Good ☝️
Krzysztof Kacprzak thank mate
There's play in the bearing because there is no nut keeping the two halves at the right compression. That's why the torque setting is so important on the drive shaft nut with these type of bearings. I still think ugger duggers are more accurate than grunts though lol....
Steve Ashcroft 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
oh dear theay be crying now leon lool
Thaitipdon Don 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
i always wonder why your dog goes outside 3 or 4 times during a video......what is out there??
Haha! You're gonna start a small war with NY!
50sKid hahaha bring it on
Guess he dosent drive far to have discs like that.
No
