Not a lot to do here ? That’s the main point , peace and quiet . It’s perfect for me I’m on vacation each and everyday. I ride the bike trails in the summertime five days a week and have access to all the golfing I can handle. Paradise !

Thank man! Cool videos. Moving from northern ky. Toured grand island and it’s so quiet. Lots of water and country but still close to things. Beautiful!
Peace and quiet on the Island. We want to keep it like that. If the price stops headaches, the price is worth it. We are less than 15 minutes from NF Blvd. in Amherst, and the same street in the Falls. Go do what you have to there, and return to the Island and shake the dust from your sandals. 😉
ON Grand Island…. What I love about the island is that we have all different socioeconomic families mixed throughout and no one keeps score here. If you have something someone needs; you share, and if your kid needs something, someone will show up with it. We all want to end up on the river but few can afford it, but everyone knows someone who will share their dock. And yes, we all leave the island to get what we don’t have here.

Three places to eat? Dude, you need to get out more. Ellden's River Oaks, Village Inn, Beach House, 773, McDonalds, Burger King, China Wok, Say Cheese, John's, Brick Oven, Sandees, Amore, Adrians, Wendy's, Tim Horton's (two of them!), Mighty Taco, Dunkin Donuts, Zobud, Twin City, Turners, V'Randa, Mallwitz, Eggsquisite, Dick and Jenny's, Toquito Lindo, Subway and that's just off the top of my head.
I understand, everyone is going to defend where they live, I do the same.
But 7 out of the 19 restaurants are fast food places. Dick and Jenny’s & Lindo I mentioned as been amazing restaurants and I’m sure all the ones you mentioned are just as good.

@@buffaloliving2.0devontedav65 it’s a town of only 20k people. Having 35% of your places to eat as fast food is pretty normal.
Now we have Venus which is a Greek restaurant. It's in the Tops plaza where Just Pizza used to be
I lived on GI from like 1968-1974! Went to GIHS and have only been back once since! Loved the Island and was born in Buffalo. Also lived in Kenmore/Tonawanda and had an Uncle that lived in Amherst. My Dad worked for Carborundum in NF.

I lived there 68-76 when I went in the Air Force. Lived on Bruce Lane and International Dr. across from the high school. Only been back for funerals unfortunately. Have not been back in the last 8 years.

Man it was AMAZING seeing this video. I went to high school at Grand Island High. All I remember is a little park, with a little basketball court. And we played. Every. Damn. Day. Some of my best memories are from Grand Island and Buffalo. Thanks for the video. Oh, and hands down still the best wings I've every had from anywhere in my life.
