This movie is pure magic.
Dirty dancing is just the most heartfelt movie.
2:44 *SCREAMS* It's the eye roll for meee AAAHHHHHH
hes so fine
First time I saw this in a theatre, when she said this, everyone gasped because it was such a vulnerable gutsy thing to admit
Most of all I’m scared of walking out of this room and never feeling the rest of my whole life the way I feel when I’m with you. (🎶 Do you feel like crying🎶)
Did you ever do dirty dancing before ❤️😏
Did you ever do dirty dancing before ❤️😏
Did you?
@@nathandegner5187 As a child, in my living room, yes. 🤣 I used to run and jump on a stool so that I could execute the infamous jump. 😂
@@Asia107 how old are you anyway?💝
This movie captures the Western cultural zeitgeist of the Summer of 1963 so amazingly, precisely & magically, that era right before the 60s as we know it broke out yet still the 50s in so many ways. The whole counter cultural hippie movement that defined the 60s was two years away before gaining steam & momentum, though in many areas the 50s were on their last legs & fading fast. Although technically it was the 60s the Summer of 1963 was neither the 60s nor the 50s, yet both on certain levels. One era was ending, another was soon to ripen, blossom & take off.
This movie captures that transitional period so well, that in-between point, the beginnings of that cultural transformation that was soon to herald the 60s generation, all before the final vestiges of the 50s had died away, as this movie evoked & captured that very seminal & pivotal year marvelously. That of 1963. It's Summer.
RIP Patrick Swayze & Jerry Orbach.
Wonderfully said!
@@emallace447 Thank You!!
I like that.
@@system3008 Thanks!!
@@MorganHyde-ie5ru Thank You very much for your kind words. No I don't write historical nonfiction yet I've flirted with the possibility. Perhaps in a few years
"Scared of walking out that door and never feeling the rest of my life - the way I feel - when I'm with you!"
Truer words have never been spoken.
How many were also too scared to speak up too?
Many wishing they had their special soulmate to laugh, love, dance, embrace, dress up or dress down with of
a real gentleman that wants more than just her sexuality -
as he also -
takes her mentally and emotionally and psychologically to highs that she never knew that life could be that good with anyone
and that no one would ever come along to make her feel -
as if -
only she mattered in his eyes!!
What freaking highs and such devastating lows of genuine and honest and gentle love -
that it truly is!
Movies make us imagine and dream to want - what we think we cannot have.
And when we do get the joys to experience our life -
as if -
on a screen of reality of dreams come true with another -
we don't take it.
We don't fight for it.
He gets scared. She gets scared.
And a good thing slips away for good. It's so unfair!!!
To have just one more hello
or a do over -
would it even matter???
When all else fails -
maybe one more dance could happen.
That closeness of warmth of a human touch to embrace each other that requires no words and one final dance can say what words fear to say!
If only life were that simple.
I finally get it now 😢❤😢❤
Too late. But I get it
Smoldering chemistry
Every time I watch this movie or this scene in particular, I get a little emotional and get goosebumps as she says that to Johnny? Johnny and baby was so misunderstood by everyone they met and especially Johnny, it seems like he was taken advantage of just because he was a man and the rich people didn’t give a hoot. I feel bad for him but I love how he sticks up for himself through the movie. I love how people are so much like other people they don’t realise what they’re doing or talking about. Baby in a way, she was naive and insecure about the way she loved Johnny but who am I to judge or blame, nobody should blame or judge anyone or this movie because we are like those people when we are young or older or anything or whatever but I always get this emotional feeling for Johnny as he learns from his own personal life and his own. I love how he is genuine!
Such a classic movie and so many famous quotes in it “I carried a watermelon “ , “nobody puts Baby in a corner “ ..... any more

Me too
Patrick is a great dancer and a heartfelt actor!
I wish it could be me dancing with Jennifer Grey!!!😊😊😊
This is more than just dancing. It's communication that can't be said through words. Baby communicating that she trusts Johnny when she dips backwards and lets him hold her steady. The breaking of the walls between high class and working class. Johnny speaking about his insecurities. And their communication of their love. A forbidden love between the high class daughter of a rich doctor, and the working class, dance instructing badboy.
And you can see the difference between the physical contact here and during her training. That time it was just for the sake of the dance, but here, her touch means so much more to him, given that this scene happens right after her father rejected him and refused to shake his hand. Their dance shows how she wants and accepts him despite his status and class. And most importantly, unlike Vivian ans Robbie who only have relations with the working class just to use them as tools for pleasure, Baby, actually loves and cares about Johnny. You can see it at the beginning where she pauses before sliding her hand to his neck to make sure he's okay. Sometimes the tiniest details speak so much.
This is finally probably the only one video with the right audio pitch. So sad that the scene was cut before ending
Me?” Im scared of everything I’m scared of what I saw, what I did who Iam “ Im scared of but most importantly scared of walking out of this room and never feeling the rest of my life the way I did when I’m with you”. Oh how I Want to feel that last part with someone.
Absolute most definitely the romantic line any woman can think of saying to a guy SHE HAD BALLS to say it....
2:12 the way he looks at her 😍
I don't care what anyone says he was so hot 🔥
My husband introduced me with this movie and I fell inlove with it. So now it’s my favorite ❤
He's gay or likes under-age teens
Emocionante os olhares, a tensão e a sensualidade expressadas em cada movimento.
Pertenço ao time das mulheres que gostaria de perder-se nos braços do encantador Johnny.
Descanse em paz Patrick Swayze ♥️🇧🇷.
Why is it every time I see or watch this movie scene I start to cry or get emotional with goosebumps every time. Omg 😦 😦😦
I'm fucking 45 and I still tear up watching this....
She got her man! 😍🙂
I've watched this scene I don't know how many times. Neither were great actors, but Swayze was so hot in this movie I can't get enough of it. Road House, Red Dawn and others were great movies, but this one was sexy on steroids.
If you listen, carefully enough, you can hear the sizzle in this scene!
I feel the sizzle ❤❤❤
This is one great movie
Damn she's a fox 🦊🥰
She’s a baby lol

It’s It’s. Me and my Sister.
Hillary- she re-enetered Isadores gates a long time ago, this life. She has a whole new physcial form look- she looks like a greek Goddess. Because she did not want to scare people from her time or her physical forms time on earth. That is a reasonable request- within reason.
This is a very sexy song❤❤❤❤
