Walk The Talk with developers of Pusa-1509 rice

Pusa 1509, a new high-yielding basmati rice which requires very less resources and water has been developed by the Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI). Shekhar Gupta spoke to the scientists of IARI Dr AK Singh and KV Prabhu who developed this special breed of Basmati Rice and farmer Preetam Singh who is now become a millionaire after growing these modified breeds of crops.

Most hybrid seed don't have taste aroma n full nutrition as they have in olden traditional crops.
Hybrids take more time n efforts by body to digest n absorb by our body. That factor need to be considered too.

Desi variety sab khatam hone lagi hain.
8- 10% decreased in nutrition value of wheat from past has happened due to various reasons accepted by agricultural scientist of india.
We are feeding more ppl due to population but nutrition is lacking.
