Thanks Kevin! There’s three complaints about this rig. Complaint #1 - why clips and why upside down? Easier to lose the clips in that position. Latching an RC vehicle is the big thing these days. Complaint #2 - how the hell do I keep the body up while plugging in the battery? Those two complaints you have figured out. Complaint #3 - too big and too heavy to carry around. My solution? Dolly. I bought a 300 lb capacity dolly with 7” wheels. The size of the dolly and wheels were the reasons that I bought it. Not the load capacity. The damn thing weighs as much as my Honcho. But when it comes to bringing my broken Honcho down from the rocks I will be smiling. And I don’t have to lug that damn sob from the front door to my car. I wheel it there. My Honcho’s “trailer”. Around 85 to 90 dollars. Now I totally love my Honcho. No more love/hate relationship. So far…
…and I screwed up the order originally (didn’t read the descriptions and bought the JLU latch system) and YOU were on it immediately. I’m glad you had a hunch that I screwed up and got back with me. Now that’s the ultimate service. Keep the customer happy and you will profit in more ways than money

Got mine installed on my SCX 6 Honcho, very happy with it! I sure hope you get some royalties when Axial and others figure this out. Now, how about a internally mounted "kick stand" for the body?

Got mine today and it fit perfectly, are the extra holes on each end just to close the gap after tightening the 2 m5 bolts?
Hey sorry I missed this comment, the extra holes on the end are for M4x10mm bolts and nuts that should have been included. They help provide an even more secure hold on the part to ensure it lasts even longer than the original.

Do you sell the stl files for the clipless hood system for the honcho?
I do not sell the files sorry. These are designed and FEA (Finite element analysis) performed for the specific material and post processing used. Anything other than that would result in a bad experience for the customer, which I’d like to avoid.
