And that was an awesome hunt, congrats Aaron!! I was unsuccessful in Indiana this year, had a few close In counters but I definitely learned a lot!! For only my 3rd turkey hunting I’m 0 for 3 but I’m absolutely in love with it!!
Took me 5 years for my first bird back in early 90s before you tube. 😅😅 I had no clue what I was doing. Till this day I learn something new every time Im out. It will happen!!!

Great shot! I missed one at 7 yards last season. My choke was so tight at that range that the pattern was the size of a golf ball! This year, I moved to an O/U. Have a super full choke and an open choke to select from so if they are far or close - I’m covered! Love your videos!

Great hunt! Have a camo pattern that would blend well with that vegetation. It won’t compare to bottomland in the open hardwoods but in green vegetation like this video, it’s hard to beat. Holler if y’all want to give it a try. Again, great video. Action packed the whole time. Why we wake up at 2 or 3 in the morning in hopes of hunts just like that.

Great hunt guys! Congratulations Aaron...great turkey 🦃. By the way, try a plunger on your fender where the deer hit you......just wet the fender good and use the plunger to pop it back out. Should be much better.
That's what I'm talking about ol son. Being a GA boy that's never had property with many turkeys on it. They were dang wide open. Hearing that much action between the all the toms and hen's. Heck I could've walk about and had almost my best turkey hunting morning with no complaints. That was just crazy. And them feathers went flying. Could've picked them up and made a pillow out of them.
Once again Aaron and the THP crew gave a LESSON on turkey hunting that shows not only how effective a turkey fan can be for bringing in gobblers closer, but also TO BE MINDFUL of such use on public ground.
This season while walking back to the truck with a gobbler I had recently shot, I just happened to look behind me to adjust my “ turkey tote” across my shoulder. A hen was flying directly to me and lit no more than 10 paces away. No doubt what she had saw to bring her so close- gobbler fan opened behind me. I pull out those blaze orange tassles sewn into my vest every time I walk back with a bird.......guess she didn’t she it? Might be time to get a THP “turkey tote” in case that coulda been an anxious turkey killer looking at that fan instead of a hen. Safety wise, better way to go.👍

I am a fan of the FAN also. Used one to draw a bird 100yrds to 15. Shot with one arm/hand. Had a pistol grip on the Benelli which really helped !!

This hunt reminds me of one of my very first turkey hunts. I slammed my car door a half hour before light and counted 13 different gobblers gobble on a side of a mountain. Like a chain reaction! My hunt wasn’t quite as insane as yours though. Unbelievable!
