Hopefully sometime soon you can give us a breakdown on those 2 dogs as well as a breakdown on their respective breeds. When you done a video on the Chessy awhile back I like that you used your other dogs for a small bit of comparison, even if a few things may have hurt to admit. It gave some perspective to help some of us understand better. Maybe you can tell us where they differ from each other as well. Just a few thoughts from another Kentuckian for you to consider. On a side note I hope you keep putting out interesting video's cause the world needs to hear from us Kentuckians.
What a great way to teach dogs to stay and be calm attentive and polite. We will be taking ours out in the canoe during the next week and all summer with family being the distraction. The timing of this video is perfect. You are a wizard. Thank you. You save me so much potential trouble by teaching me all these methods.

Okay this one and the pool short have greatly illustrated your techniques. When you talk about “environmental” manipulation to teach the dogs, for some reason I thought it was way bigger picture. But this canoe training and the pool training with the lab puppy enlightened me. Good stuff.
Good video! we had a Keeshond/Samoyd cross named Bobo in the mid 60's. I thought it stood for Body Odor -Body Odor cause he was always chousing skunks and getting sprayed alot.

Hey stonnie, I’m looking for a jack russell, more of the traditional 12-14 inches tall rather than the shorty jacks, could you steer towards some breeders in the bluegrass?

Hey Uncle Stonnie, I found a hole in my training. Mine is calm attentive and polite except for the 15 seconds when I launch the canoe off the dock and he gets too excited. Is the answer more place training?
PS. I don't have a mentor dog, so I leave the wife on shore for the same effect. 😅
