- Here is a rare look at the West Side Story castmates back together (around 1987) in the 2nd National Tour of La Cage aux Folles - Kert as Georges and Evans as Albin. I saw the tour in Indianapolis... (not many other people did...)

Never thought I'd see this again. That's my ex playing drums in the pit. Saw the production many times and loved it. Larry's gone, but Harvey is still going strong. THANK YOU SO MUCH...
whoooooa. I just teared up. I was in this production. These two were the nicest two humans on the planet. I can't believe that I'm watching this right now. It's like a home-movie. I was just 24. :o)
If this was in '86, my ex is playing percussion in the pit. I loved this show. When I was introduced to Larry, he said, "Wonderful for you to meet me!" The last time I saw him, he was walking his dog in front of the White Horse Tavern in the West Village, where I lived. RIP Larry - it WAS wonderful for me to meet you.

This us wonderful. I met and saw Larry at the Village Gate in 1989. He performed a medley of his WSS signature songs for an AIDS benefit. I trembled with joy and hope for those who .... well. This bit is really fun and the clip is rare. Thanks.
So,so happy to see this. i never knew that the two of these legends had performed these roles together, only just discovered it by chance looking for this number of a week long LA CAGE tribute im doing on my little FB theatre group called THEATRE TALK.(feel free to join us) its terrific! thanks for posting. i only wish there was more of it to see. :-)
