i remember watching this SXSW set back in 2007...i'm glad i found this! It was this song i remember hearing/watching and i thought "wow, she's about to be really big!"

Man I miss One of the boys- Teenage dream era Katy Perry (a bit of prism) but man I love this kind of Rock/POP music it makes me feel nostalgic. 2008-2014 I’d say that was her prime. Wish she’d get back into this type of bag.

She had unstable voice tbh, sometimes it can't follow up the rhyme and rhythms. This is why some people keep saying she couldn't sing.
Her recents singing and songs is better in that problem, but she's not that appealing to the crowds anymore which made it so that her songs ain't charting that good anymore. Never the less I still like her songs.
she may not be as appealing to crowds because she's getting older and plus she pretty much changed her looks to where she no longer has a look of her own
You can't stay 24 forever... she sang it for us at a corporate event we had at the Wynn in 2019 and basically said "I'm an old bitch to be singing this, but it's Vegas sooooo..."
Respect for not using pitch correction or playvack for this performance though
