In this series, I'll be playing through all 30 missions on "Brutal" difficulty and complete all mission objectives on every map, as fast as possible. Mission order and upgrades are chosen to minimize the total time for the campaign!

I was a little worried because the Leviathan is very tough to kill with limited units, but fortunately it turned out that you can kill it instantly with one of the platform explosions. Didn't see anyone else mentioning this when I was researching the mission!

Also quite nice timing on the kill, how many tries did it take to both find out the quick kill and get the timing down?

I think a lot of runners already know killing the Leviathan with the platform explosion, but I've never seen the speedrun applying this technique. AWESOME :)
those Reaper grenades appear to be a regenerating form of the goblin land mines from Warcraft 3 which is hilarious enough, but the cherry for this had to be the Leviathan appearing and then being annihilated with effectively zero fanfare 🤣
I swear the more I watch your stuff the more I come to appreciate reapers, insane what you can do with those guys.
I thought this one was gonna take longer than 3 minutes, didn’t know you could kill the leviathan that way!
same :D I was worried about the leviathan when I tried different unit combinations to take it down and found nothing very effective. Until I thought of the explosion...
There should be an achievment like with brutalisk in the first Tosh's mission.
Commamder: we could try to destroy the platform when the Leviathan is on it.
Matt: it is a flying unit, and it took a lot of nukes to kill. Where did you study tatics, man?
Commander: still do it. and it works.

How me and I guess many others killed the Leviathan: Mass Vikings and an ungodly amount of turrets at the center after mining out the map

Kind of saw you use explosion to kill that beast half way you are doing it. “Everything” seems to be quite literal here, although it should’ve been hinted by platform killing mutas and whatnot, meaning killing Air units that way was possible, just need good timing.
But again, I doubt casual players notice or even care about this sort of stuff.
