Can't say I was ever an RID 2015 fan but she was always the best parts of what I watched; Strongarm is a cool character and a great addition to the overall Transformers cast of characters and archetypes
Not bad, v-mode seems a bit squashed but overall looks like a solid buy for me. I hope they do an RiD Steeljaw too, his original figure was just as bad as the original Strongarm's. Otherwise they should get on to Underbite and Clampdown since they didn't receive full-size figures in that line like the other main 'cons.
"Autobots rev up and roll out!" One of my favorite shows, after BW and TFA, exactly in thar order. One of my favorite characters too, she really needed to be updated. Shame they didn't include Decepticon Hunter. I still own some warrior class figures - Bludgeon, Bumblebee, Twinferno and both variants of Windblade (she could use an update too). Hopefully they will give us at least core cast members in near future (Steeljaw could be updated since his toy was very mediocre).

I totally agree this mold looks way better. It's almost like this is what the mold was first made for in my opinion and were able to fit Minerva and Alita into it.
A big backpack is better than parts-forming and the risk of losing key components or pretending that it is a 'hover board'. And she wears the look well. This mould is a good compromise between the more doll-like robot mode and chunky vehicle mode without too much shell-forming.

She's a tricky one, on one level it annoys me that she's a remould it screws up some details that didn't need to be screwed up by that, but on the other hand the vehicle mode is fairly accurate and she is pretty well painted and she's certainly a better job than say Knockout was. Maybe I'll stick her in my "wait for a sale" list though.

It’s the nose, I don’t know why they can’t leave a character that didn’t have a nose alone, the prime characters had the same issue amongst many others, they aren’t G1 so stop trying to make them look G1 >:(

i dont think i like that, there was so little that needed to be done to g1-ify this character since she's blocky to begin with, but the head is the one thing that probably should have been changed and they did the worst thing of just adding a nose

Haven´t they basically upgraded the backpack into a far more manageable one, plus added another join to the shoulder pilons? Degading to one weapon sounds fine by me as trade off.

I don't work for hasbro this wave popped up here in Manila at our Toys R Us stores and I picked them up. if you watched the entirety of the video you'd know that.. also this wave has been out in Asian countries for some time now.. actually warming the pegs... just because they appear so late in your country, doesn't mean we get them early... we get stuff on time.. you guys just get them late. blame hasbro not us.
I was watching and comparing with my own Strongarm of 2015 (though i got her in 2016 for my birthday, since there was nothing else on sale and hard to find any transformer toy), and...she deserved her own mold. I am still baffled with everyone complaining on ironhide siege/earthrise feet, but these molds, they shut up. Anyway, she's too small . Yah articulation and all, better then the 2015 which had a pretty basic engineering (because it was for kids....), but, i am not sold. Her original is cooler for me, the sculpt I mean. If i had this Strongarm, i'd switch the weapons for the original one. Its not perfect, so i keep my original one. There is not really anything new for me with this one.
Have you ever considered weighing the figures when you discuss things like budget and amount of plastic used?
