Tips, if you want to cut weight buy a 10000mah battery bank carbo lite by nitecore and use that instead of the heavy batteries and tape it to the bottom. That should reduce weight by quite a lot

Thanks for the review, Neil. I am looking for a NVD for checking bats. Is there also a passive IR mode on these binos (or mono, as you mentioned)? So a mode without the IR beam being on?
