Being a feminist has nothing to do with bad manners!! Most women like when a guy is a gentleman… Vast majority…If she doesn’t like it, she can say. She is more popular, earns more and opens the door???? Why on earth would she need a man then? Will he write all of these incredible songs about her?? To my mind, “don’t open the door for me” is a juvenile feminism… Women ,in general, are way more thoughtful and do a bunch of different caring gestures on a daily basis. So, for a man to open the door is a cute thing, but shouldn’t be seen as out of this world act of kindness…Men on average have become too lazy and unexciting…
Watch your female and your male friends preparing for a date and then compare the amount of effort they put into it…

I ate how feminism seems such a one way street. Sure you can be independent and everything that comes with feminism but what's wrong with a man opening the door for you? Doesn't make me less feminist.
Or even the idea of someone wanting to do something nice? Too much label on everything we do...that's what I think.
