- If you like Kevin Costner and you want to know how to make a ballfield from scratch, you’ve come to the right place. This is my field of dreams in Bretagne, France. I had this idea when I purchased some farmland next to our house. It is a 90 ft MLB diamond, with about 300 foot fences.
I tell how to how to build a field economically and ecologically going through all of the steps:
Leveling, preparing the soil, planting grass, watering, the infield skin, outfield fence, fertilizing, maintenance, and dreaming :)
And yes if you are wondering, if you build it, they do come. (That's what she said.)
So come on out and toss the ball around with us and maybe they’ll put your name up in the clouds as well.

Si tu aimes Kevin Costner et que tu veux savoir comment créer un terrain de baseball à partir de zéro, tu es au bon endroit. C'est mon terrain de rêve en Bretagne. L’idée est venue en achetant les terres agricoles à côté de la maison.
C'est un diamant officiel MLB, avec des clôtures d'environ 86 metres.
Je raconte comment réaliser un terrain de baseball économiquement et écologiquement en passant par toutes les étapes :
Le nivelement, la préparation du sol, la semance du gazon, l'arrosage, la terre du champ intérieur, la clôture du champ extérieur, la fertilisation, l'entretien, et les rêves :)
Et oui, si tu le construit, ils viennent!
Alors viens lancer la balle avec nous et peut-être tu verras ton nom apparaitre dans les nuages.

I hear ya.. in any case round up isn’t what it used to be. I use a more “ecological” one but I know it’s still not good. Vinegar is not great for the earth either but surely a better option.

C'est incroyable ce que tu as réussit à faire. Je suis originaire de Quimper et j'ai participé à la création du clu. En 1992. Durant de nombreuses années nous nous sommes investi sans jamais arriver à un tel résultat en terme d'adhérents, de structure et d'infrastructures. Bravo et respect. C'est avec plaisir qu'à ma prochaine visite de participé à vienne lancé et frapper quelques balle. Amicalement

Tangi si je me souviens bien c'est toi qui nous a donné ton ancien matos. Mathieu a customisé ton casque de catcher en noir avec le S restylisé en doré. 👌

Hay que tener la passion del baseball muy adentro para realizar un sueño así ⚾️ A parte de lo económico, el tiempo que toma y el esfuerzo que se necesita para realizar un sueño así .
Creo que todos los que llevamos el baseball por dentro soñamos algún día construir el parque de nuestro sueños, a la medida e incluyendo cada detalle sacado de nuestros sueños.
Te felicito por ese gran trabajo que han realizado 👏🏼 ha quedado un resultado fantástico, espero tengas muchos años de excelente salud para poder disfrutar de ese magnifico terreno que has creado ! y quien sabe tal vez luego ver a tus hijos jugar en el.

Il appartient a quel club?
Le premier terrain de baseball où Jai joué, donc mon premier club également ( Diggers , fleron , Belgique) le terrain était en partiellement bordé de maïs,.
Mais avec un champ extérieur très petit, maximum 70 mètres 😂.
Les homerun tombaient directement dans les maïs, ça prenais du temps pour retrouver les balles 😆
ahhh la chasse aux balles dans le champ de mais. lol. c'est pas facile! Tu m'étonnes avec une palissade à 70 metres (229ft!) *Les Quimper Sharks y jouent.

Bonsoir , il est ou exactement ce field of dream ? J'ai recensé une bonne partie des terrains de baseball de France via la fédé et google earth et il ne me semble pas avoir celui la dans mon album photo ! En tout cas sacré boulot , FELICITATION !

Awesome job on the field. Did you use mound bricks? As someone who enjoys these types of videos, you should out the channel GCI Turf. You have definitely lived up to the Crusader motto.

He says to not water the field during the day then at the 7:54 mark looks like a sprinkler.

I was impressed until you got to using round up next to farm land. That weed killer seeps into soil and infiltrates our food. Also it's illegal in France to use round-up.
