Finally! A proper day in the life of a cloud engineer that actually shows us what he's working on and the challenges he's facing on the job. This is my dream job and watching this is great! Studying for the AZ-104 and I'm currently on Storage. Blobs and File shares. Refreshing to see it being worked on in the actual job. Keep the videos coming. Subscribed! 👍👍
thanks! the goal for me is to document the highs and lows whilst giving a real perspective of the role at the same time. Good luck on your studies 🫡
Ash b can you please connect with me I am also planning to give az-104 hope you could help me 😀
This was really good, i think documenting your journey up until now will be very insightful
Glad to have found a channel about someone working in DevOps from a UK perspective.
As a fellow brit looking to transition into DevOps, I’m looking forward to you documenting your journey.
Yeah definitely give us more content on how you've made it and other possible pathways one could take to become a cloud engineer. Overall this is very nice content, thanks for keeping it real and original. I really loved it.
This is the best video I have ever seen on cloud engineering wfh, I been searching for videos just like this to get get an exact ideas on what I need to practice for my cloud engineering journey, thanks a million. I love every bit of it. Don’t stop.
thanks 🙏 will have more videos dropping soon
Great video. Looking to get into IT myself too, self taught. Cant decide between cyber security, web dev / software engineering, devops / cloud engineer. Thought it would help to look into the daily life of cloud specialists and came across your video, was very useful, jazakallah khair. keep the videos coming :)
Loved this video. I too am from the UK studying to get into cloud engineering/DevOps. Need more videos mate would love to know how you got to your position. Good gym work 👊
Good stuff. Looking forward to the getting into tech video you mentioned.
Awesome video Kav 😊 Looking forward to the next!
thanks, working on it this weekend 🤓
Amazing. Can't wait to see more videos! I'm looking to become a cloud engineer.
thank you for the vid. people wanting to get into cloud would find this very helpful
glad you liked it 👊🏾
The best day in the life of I've come across!
This is definely a proper day in a life of an Azure Devops Cloud Engineer, preatty nice!
Great Video. You really highlighted the life of a Cloud Engineer. Subscrided and I definely want to see more.
thanks, i’ve had a lot on my plate since dropping these vids but i’ll get another one out soon with updates 🫡
Thanks for showing the real stuff ❤
loved this!
I don't normally comment on videos, but here I am saying Thank you for showing us a real life of a tech role, thanks.
much appreciated 💪🏽
nice video i always wanted to see how cloud engineers work thanks
thanks, i’ll be dropping more videos soon 🙏
Great video bro!
thanks brother 💪🏽
Great to see a self taught engineer , would love to see how your background started out
i was hoping to get a video out covering this but currently overloaded at work 🥲
could you make a video on your journey to where you currently are right now and any advice you can give to someone who hasn't got a tech background?
Nice, please can you make a vid on your route to devops?
Great video! Im a recent graduate in Computer Science. I wonder if you had any advice on landing the first role in software. Any advice would be massively appreciated.
congrats on graduating 👏🏽 it’s always a struggle getting your first grad role out of uni but i recommend trying to find a way to make yourself standout i.e work on practical projects in your spare time that you can present in interviews, complete coding challenges or even try gaining a certification in either python, azure or aws
I just wanted to reach out and let you know that I've been really inspired by your vlog as a cloud engineer. The way you approach tasks and the techniques you use have been really helpful for me as a junior cloud engineer, especially since I've only been working in this field for about three weeks now.
I'm currently working in a fast-paced environment that uses agile, and I was wondering if you have any suggestions or tips for how to succeed in this type of environment. Your expertise and experience would be incredibly valuable to me, and I would be grateful for any advice you could offer. Thank you for all the great content you create, and I look forward to hearing from you soon.
don’t be too harsh on yourself, you’ve only just started your journey and it will take time to get upto speed and contribute to the project as well as your peers. Take your time on tickets, ask plenty of questions and most importantly break it down and make sure you understand all the steps you have taken to complete that piece of work
@@kavturboo Thank you for your advice. I appreciate your input and I will definitely take it on board and apply it to my work.
Can you give us a pathway to become a cloud engineer please? I do not have tech experience but eager to learn. What are the 1st few things to learn?
which university, if i have to apply then whats the eligibility criteria for non it background, i am intrested in devops but don't know whch university should i apply for in uk
What would you say are the key things you need to learn and what certifications are needed for a cloud engineer?
i’ll be making a video on this topic soon, there’s a lot of certificates out there but a foundation cert on a cloud platform of your choice is a good start
Hey Kav , love the thumbnail what course / bootcamp did you take to begin with ?
stay tuned, new vid dropping soon covering this 🎬👀
Hello Kav, could you direct me how to learn DevOps/Cloud engineering please ? I am from DS background and feels bizarre on where to start.. also projects to do to master the art would be beneficial
hey yes i definitely can, i’ll be covering this soon in another video since i’m from a self taught background
Hi sir I need your guidance for cloud Architect or devops engineer position
I'm trying to switch from Developer to DevOps... cannot stand coding as a developer anymore... small scripts and small coding is Ok, but not hard coding as a SW developer.
good luck on your journey 🫡
amazing video kav can you tell about salaries of devops and cloud engineers in UK?
i’ll deffo be doing a video on this soon, already got it on my list ✅
MashaAllah, great video. Would definitely be interesting to see your roadmap.
I'm currently starting out on this journey from a non-tech background. I'm aiming to get into DevOps InShaAllah.
Currently completed AZ-900 cert.
Done AWS Bootcamp aiming to complete AWS Solutions Architect cert.
I looked into Linux and am currently studying Terraform.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
JazakAllah Khayran, brother.
InShaAllah, you’re already on the right path so just stick to it, i’ll be going through a tech stack video soon for beginners. May Allah make this journey easy for you.
@@kavturboo yess i need this lol, I only completed the AWS cloud practitioner course from coursera, now idk what to do next
Hey Dude Can u talk about roadmap i'm interested please help me
nice video
How do i start
Are those blue light glasses? If yes, are they any good?
yep blue light glasses, wear these every day when working and before bed, reduced my eyestrain massively - recommend them for anyone who spends a lot of time staring at screen 👌🏾
@@kavturboo thanks man, where'd you get yours ? I'm looking to buy because I work from home a lot too
@@liban2 grabbed these from amazon, pretty cheap but i’ve also got some from belvoir as well
What are the skills required to become a cloud engineer?
This changes every year but the for basics I would suggest knowledge of at least 1 cloud platform, IAC and Config management as well as any scripting language and some experience with pipelines, familiarity with linux and/or windows servers is an advantage but you can pick this up pretty easily in a role
I see a Mac and PC? Does cloud computing require both, if so which is better to learn on?
they’re both Macs actually but you can use whatever you want, doesn’t really make a difference
@@kavturboo So using Linux not required?
@@chelious1973 linux windows or mac, OS doesn’t really matter
@@kavturboo. I see. Thank You! 👍
Hy bro can you help me
Yeah I think I'm going to change my major lol.....Looks like a headache.
haha wait till i drop my next video, you’ll see the stress i’ve been going through this past month 😂
If you like working with people checkout solutions architect
You look like Ryan Tafazolli so much
not sure who that is but i’ll take it as a compliment 😂
