I honestly believed you had bought that van at the start and you were going to gives a good look around. I also cannot believe I was joining in with quite a few of those song as well, even more shocking was how far I was behind you on that walk, we did together in the North York Moors. A good Friday evening laugh, cheers Alan
not in our lifetime. I love the idea of being able to rock up in a van and set up anywhere on the side of the road and get an early start on the day, we even had a very uncomfortable van once for that very reason and got a few early starts in the Lakes with it which was a bonus. but camp sites, pitch ups, maintenance, chemical toilets, price of fuel, tax?? oh my days I get nose bleeds thinking about that! fair play to them though it’s hugely popular and there are ways to do it on the cheap now with many car parks and pubs offering free pitch ups with chemical disposals. was a great first meet, had forgotten about that song until trawling through my archives!

thank you Watto, couldn’t resist this one. we were hoping to film a new series “BANK HOLIDAY BANDITS”, spent 6 long hours trawling the worst places in Scarbados last weekend and every person was behaving civilised. a right let down. I got 40 seconds of material so it was back to the drawing board..

wow, must have been amazing to see the Righteous Brothers, Jill can certainly hold a tune better than me! Ahhh you had me fooled with the van. I love the van life vlogs and I can definitely see the appeal of getting out of the rat race at times, but we like our home comforts a bit too much! Maybe our experiences wrangling with a motorhome in the Lakes this spring will inspire me to finally post a video, 'Mistakes of a First-Time Camper' 😅. Loved all the songs, you have done so many wonderful hikes. Particular shout out to Nick's 'Mysterious Girl', brilliant 😂. I always hear Jill singing 'moor, moor, moor' in my head when I walk on the North York Moors, truly iconic. Heading off to Our Price now to support this endeavour. Enjoy your weekend both.
