Its my time to shine, the book about the Egyptian boy who was really good at gold working was The Golden Goblet. For some reason the name of the main character (Ranofer) is imprinted in my memories even though I can barely remember anything else. I too enjoyed that book in early middle school.

He was basically sent to jail because he talked shit about the Pope for having a different opinion on the matter not because he told everyone the earth was round. Ironically most priest and monks knew this from Copernicus who theorized this when making his heliocentric model of the solar system.

Actually, while on his Egyptian Campaign Napoleon collected many ancient relics, many of which were transported to France, so while there isn’t a direct correlation between the two, it would still have been possible to get to Ancient Egypt through Napoleon

I legit grew up watching bananas in Pajamas in Australia around 2014 or 15. The show still airs now now in 2022 and I’m only 15. The shows amazing and it made me so nostalgic seeing it.
