- We approached rigging this asset, the same way we approach our character rigs, from an animator's perspective. This asset went out to our Animation & Mentorship students for free today.

This was really interesting, especially for one new to rigging! My mind was just constantly racing about how you managed to pull of the different and very useful specifics of this! Hope I get to give the rig a try one day!

We've added the asset to our Animation and Mentorship courses, and will look into selling it separately from the courses in the future.
It looks amazing! But I can imagine that the provided characters which are quite stylistic don't work visually well together with this realistic bike. In the end it's supposed for animation training though.
For sure it's a lot more realistic, but the Bike was created for the villain rig that's currently in the making. So we'll try and make sure it suits him a bit more.

The Animation Course is set to publicly launch Feb/Mar of next year, but we're allowing our Blender Basics students to actually upgrade next month!

Would love to see a complete rigging tut on this added to the Animation course down the road. I've been saving up for this course.
Hey! The focus of the Animation course will be on giving students a strong animation foundation. We won't be doing any character rigging, but it's in our plans to add lessons on some very basic prop rigging as well.
We have future plans on creating a full rigging course (due to popular demand), but that's likely something for next year.

I want to learn how to animate with a blender
I am not good at English, so I am studying by looking at subtitles through the automatic translation function.
Will the video of the basic, animation course also be an automatic translation function of English subtitles?
I usually use the automatic translation function of Chrome or CZcams

Currently all of our Blender Basics lessons have English subtitles (automated by Amazon's Cloud Service). Our Animation Course isn't yet ready for release, but once it releases, we'll begin adding subtitles for that as well.

'Purchase' and 'free' are opposite 😂
The bike rig is free for our animation and mentorship course members, but will be purchasable in the future for non-course members.
I should add that the creation of complex assets & rigs like these costs us thousands of dollars.

We've actually been getting non-stop requests to make a rigging course, after our Max & May rigs.. and so after the Animation Course, we'll begin working on a comprehensive rigging course in Blender. We'll make a course on character creation, then a second course on rigging, rigging the character made in the 'character creation' course. This likely won't be done until late 2023 or early 2024 though, since our current focus is finishing the Animation Course.

The Ultimate Animation Course and Mentorship both include the Cyber Bike and a long list of other movie quality assets.
The Animation Course has the same curriculum as the Mentorship, but with the Mentorship you're able to send in 12 of your shots to get video feedback on from instructors in the industry, receiving personalized feedbacks and draw overs.
In terms of availability, we may have some spots open up in December, but the first people we prioritize is our animation students who wish to upgrade (by paying the difference in price). If any spots remain available, we'll let the public know.
