Their last Album was better tho but apparently most fans don't care about the musical deepness if its not catchy lol. Most ppl are fans because of Taylor and not of her music and she tries so hard so get over it but everytime she actual do it she get punched by her fans because "it's not heavy enough"
@@TheKartoffel101 I think they're almost as great as each other, only DxRnR being more sentimental and emotional while Who you selling for was a masterpiece that explored a HUNDRED sounds within 12 songs. And yes, I am one of those few people who really fucking appreciate who you selling for😭😭
@@lilj6849 IMO DxRnR is a bit overproduced like the child Chor in And so it went for example. A lot of stuff that didn't need to be in there in general and most of the songs you have heard already for XXX times. Only Love Can Save me now is the only really good song that sticks out of the album
The experience that this song and all the others on the album bring us is that it has become gold. In fact, Taylor Momsen has matured her voice, her songwriting and her way of making music, an album like this in such a twisted and insane moment like the one we are living in, her music touches us and has such a rich ideology, she is so young and manages to be mature to the point of being an artist that can't be found in today's, or yesterday's, days... if she had been in the 70's/80's/90's she would be an ICON. But she came after all the icons left, to become unique and start and spread the flame of rock n roll, that is forgotten but about to get warmed up. This woman is the most genuine movement of freedom, power and rock n roll

Her vocals have that insane raw, gritty, gravelly and at the same time, melodic ring to it.
This is fierce from the amazing vocal to the pummeling drums, to the true guitar fireworks on display in several different styles..this is a killer top notch rock song

This one is my favorite ones out of the ones I’ve heard so far, I’m so obsessed about everything when it comes to this song, someone was playing with instrumentals and it came out so fucking amazing, Taylor’s voice is just so powerful! I’m so in love with this song 🤘

I really like this song. it oddly has a 90's rock vibe to it and I love that.
Like all music, it's a sum of its influences. This new renaissance of rock we are starting to see has a very lyrical flair that is fantastic. A lot of 90s and 2000s rock drowned out their vocals compared to what is starting to emerge.
Kenny Hoopla is another band like this too... It's a new thing. Metal, 2010s indie, grunge, 70s Prog, all are influences... but it is definitely something new. I can't wait to see where this goes. I haven't felt this downright giddy about new music since I was in high school 15 years ago.
Am I the only one who felt an extremely hard nod (almost like a sequel) to Going to Hell on this track ... at 2:30 we literally hit Sweet Things vibes and Taylor sings ‘Don’t Follow Me’ ... as in, Follow me Down to the River ...

I went to see their concert in Dublin on October ’22. Before they played this song, Taylor said, ‘It’s the first time we’re gonna play this live, and it could be great or it could be a fucking tragedy.’ It wasn’t great, it was mind blowing. Off the f**king charts. My favourite song of the gig, and since then, one of my TPR favourites. Follow your gut feeling, guys. You’ll be greater than you already are.

it's funny how usually the comments are about the instrumental and vocals, and not the lyrics specifically.
This song it's a masterpiece, no discussion. But let's focus a little on this lyrics, Oh my... THIS is true faith. When you know that not only you, what you are, but also your faith, puts you in danger. Because things didn't changed completely, and we see everyday more proof of that. And we only can trust trully ourselfs.
So we buried it deep and hide it from everyone.
But i think she just started another plan, maybe be apart from the people that are exposing theirselfs, being what they are, without afraid, and i see the world is changing for the good in that part. We just need to spread more the word, and fight back the divisions that are starting to exist.
