Same bro, my dad had dmc 3 and dmc 4 discs and it was my first slasher games, it had no special edition. Even dmc 4. I still have it.
For me it was getting viewtiful joe on the psp that got me into this series

If you shoot the blue orbs the Savior flings at Dante, they drop purple orbs that refill the devil trigger. You need to use the lock on to hit them. But this is a far better strategy than trying to avoid them with jumps.

Now that speech that Dante gave about saving the world will make a perfect speech for a graduation
I love this game, it is my favourite when I was teen.
The fact that Dante confirmed Nero was bis nephew at this point of the story with Yamato but the way he screamed his name after 13:09 , you hear the the concern and worry in his voice for a second. But he was still confident in him because of Vergil's leftover powers but modified into Nero's style.
Devil May Cry 3, 4 and 5 are my favorite games of the series

The Best way to break the Orbs (Blue things on the body of the Giant) is by using the weapon derived after killing the Giant 🐸.

.....cuz from my experience winning with no damage is actually ez, and you can actually counter all The Savior's physical attack

You can actually shoot out the orbs using Gunslinger style Ebony and Ivory. The best way to get rid of them

Devil May Cry 4 is my favorite because its the game has the most Reuben-est Dante in it, Hamte.

The fact that Dante was not even trying throughout this entire game is especially impressive in this boss fight.
Here he is, standing in front of a huge statue built specifically to exterminate Demons and fueled by a portion of his very own power, and the first thing he says is that he's gonna make it eat its words.

It's a new style for Dante called Dark slayer
To choose it you need to press any of these styles trickster, swordmaster, royal guard and gunslinger two times

The concept is almost the same in any game when you fight a boss this kinda big.. It uninspiring.. repetitive..unlogical.. Developer need to think new and much better idea, still can see same shitty game like this even today.
