yes she was publicly named, it was anthony stevens wife, her actual named was mentioned in the video and quite often at the time of the scandal. she just doesnt have the same reputation as wayne carey. wayne carey is the big famous footballer who everyone knows and her only claim to fame before this was being married to anthony stevens who himself without the scandal wouldnt be hugely known today. nothing to do with genderor equality and yes she was equally named and shamed

As a relic from South Melbourne days, I idolise the player with more reason to skite, but he never did, a thorough gentleman and super nice bloke with three more Brownlow medals than the guy who never got any, because he always talked back and argued with/abused the umpire, the great Bobby Skilton.

Wayne Carey is living proof that you can get away with virtually anything and have a high-paying career in the media, just so long as you had an illustrious football career. The AFL Boys Club are basically another version of the Stonecutters.
Most of the AFL commentators are good role models like Luke Darcy, Matt Richardson, Matt Lloyd.
Not many players have had the history of Wayne Carey but he is arguably one of the best players ever so he gets a pass. AFL has historically been a male sport until a couple of years ago so its not a surprise most commentators are male, just like netball is a girls club.
What a load of tosh! So, Carey gets a pass to have high-paying career in the media, regardless of his terrible treatment to women? Luke Darcy stinks as a commentator! And your netball comparison simply doesn’t add up.
