Hookworms - On Leaving | Guardian Sessions

The latest Guardian session comes courtesy of five-piece psyche band Hookworms, who perform On Leaving at the Brudenell Social Club in Leeds. Described by bassist MB as their attempt at 'a minimal two-note rager', the track is lifted from their forthcoming album The Hum, which follows their acclaimed breakthrough, Pearl Mystic

Hookworms were one of the most overlooked and promising bands of the 2010s, ‘Microshift’ one of the greatest albums of all time imo. Shame how it ended.
