    Mane is not greedy at all. His contract has stayed stagnant for 3 to 4 years, whilst everyone else’s contract was getting upgraded. Mind you the whole time Mane has stayed positive and given the club his all, and that’s with a cast of Salah’s shadow over him. Mane has been a staple of Liverpools success and it’s such a shame that Liverpool don’t see how good they have it right now. I hope mane finds a new home where he will be appreciated, even if it means less success or taking a pay cut.

    People are too quick to see this from the club's perspective. Shaka got it spot on, if Liverpool are willing to let his contract run down to its final year, they were never too serious about doing everything to keep him. Maybe, it's time for him to take it easy a little bit. Bayern Munich is still a fantastic club, let's not forget that. The Bundesliga is still competitive enough, despite the 10 consevutive league titles for Bayern. Man City are heading that way in the PL too, aren't they? Mane is not the 23 years old Mbappe, or the 21 years old Haaland to challenge themselves in the PL. He is 30. Let him go and start a new chapter in his fantastic career. I'm devastated. My favourite player. We'll miss him at Liverpool. Most will not realize how vital Mane was to success at Liverpool , maybe until after he's gone. I'm not blind. He's had slumps in form. Especially putting the ball away over the last 3 seasons. Having said that Salah has been struggling even more since returning from Afcon yet he demands club record wages despite already being on nearly double what Mane gets. Salah loses possession too easily and too often and doesn't fight for the ball anywhere near Mane. Mane puts his body on the line consistently and has always done more work to get possession back. He's better in the air by miles. Obviously his work rate has dropped over the last 2 seasons but that's from levels that were unmatched anywhere. I completely understand how he feels as l have watched closely since his arrival from Southampton. I haven't forgotten the times Mane was unmarked in the 6 yard box and Salah refused to pass to him for what would have been tap ins even though Salah had the keeper and or defender to beat. Mane put the team 1st until now. I've seen the frustration and it's totally warranted.

      @Reu RU Yes. Mane moved from the right wing to the left because Salah was better playing on the right wing. Diaz came and pushed Mane to the center because Diaz is much better than Mane at the left wing. Mane isn't changing his positions out of love or respect to newcomers. They simply pushed him to a different position because they were better from him at that time. If Mane continued being good on the left wing the past year, he would have continued playing there, and maybe Diaz played centrally or stayed as an impact sub with Jota playing at the center. Good thing about Mane though is he can adapt to new positions quickly, and that's one of his good attributes. If Firmino was at his peak, Mane would have been benched months ago because he was at a decline as a left winger, and Diaz is better than him there now.

      @@NoThing-ks7oh don’t worry. When he leaves we shall see if Jota and Diaz are enough for you. You don’t wanna pay Salah either so without both we would see if ur Diaz and Jota can compete with city. How dare you even say Diaz was better so they pushed mane to the middle ….that’s the disrespect and until he leaves you won’t appreciate how good the guy is

    • @NoThing-ks7oh
      @NoThing-ks7oh Před 2 lety +2

      @Reu RU That's true, though. Mane wasn't doing good at the left wing last season and this season. That's why Diaz came as a potential replacement. Diaz is much better than Mane now at the left wing. I'm not saying Diaz is an overall better player than Mane. I'm talking about the positions. In fact, Mane is still 10x better player than both Jota and Diaz, but he is better playing in the center than the left wing now. Btw I don't want Mane or Salah to leave, and I don't think Diaz or Jota are good replacements for them at the moment. They need to sign a new player at the same quality as Mane, Like Son, Kane, maybe a younger optiong Nkunku.

    Something to do with the fact that they under pay him. His on 100k a week, which is a joke. I think he knows Liverpool won't pay him what he deserves and will prioritise Salah. Not to mention Diaz is now favored on the left not Mane anymore.
    Imo, he may not get the same number of goals as Salah but his the most dangerous man on the field. Deserves a bigger pay day.

    If you can get good money at another legendary club and be the superstar in the Bundesliga, that s not too bad. Bayern compete for the CL and have a real good team in the making. 34 games plus winter break help to extend your career. Adding a couple of german trophies and another CL titel would result in a fantastic career.

    It indicates that Liverpool are unwilling or unable to come up with contract extensions or new contracts acceptable to either.
    Jotta and Diaz were bought as replacements and not just to strengthen the squad.
    Money talks and Mane and Salah are nearer the end of their careers than the beginning.
    Hardly surprising they are looking for the best possible deal and may have to move to get it.
