      Speak for yourself I'm 28 year old man and I have greying in my beard and on my facial hair. Most people treat me like I'm flipping 50- 60 years old. It's daily torture for me. My remedy right now is I clean shaven my head and beard every three day or so. I refuse to waste money on hair dyes.

    I've started having grey hair when I was 19 years old. Now I have more than 70% of my hair grey and I'm so tired of dying all the time. So, this week I decided to let it grow and then turn my whole hair silver, so it won't be that noticeable (and taking advantage that platinum hair, lavender, rose hair is in fashion now). It's so tiring having to deal with it. We'll see if I can keep up with my goal.

    I would totally recommend henna hair dye. It’s the most natural product. I just used it for my grey hair and thought of you. It’s way better than box dyes. Some people have known to get an allergic reaction but if you’ve ever done henna on your hands and not had any reaction you should be good. It’s been an ancient Indian and middle eastern remedy over y

    I heard it's really hard to reverse the hair back to their natural colour once they start getting discoloured.
    My hair has been getting white since the last 4 years. I haven't been able to stop it.
    I assume it's some form of deficiency if it's not genetic.
    I'm gonna try to fix the deficiency and try indian amla.

    I’m 26 and also have gray hair! I really like your growth pattern. I don’t have a ton concentrated in a specific spot (except the lobe area) so mines are like highlights throughout.
    I’ve been growing my grays out for about 7 months and I’ve learned a lot during this process but one thing I will say is do what feels right to you. Want to cover them? Great! Want to grow them out? Great!
    You will know when you’re ready to grow them out, because that’s a process in of its own and until then, continue to cover them or do whatever works best for you! 💜

  • @sag9780
    @sag9780 Před 24 dny

    Genetic greys will never go away or stop. Colouring and root retouching is quite expensive and tiring. We do this because of our insecurity caused by people around us. I started greying around 26, now I am 31, colouring damaged my hair a lot. I don't think it's worth to kill our hair just because our hair doesn't fit inside the social norms. Colouring once a while it's okay but accepting it as a part of yourself is the biggest approval you will ever need.

  • @MoMixMasta03
    @MoMixMasta03 Před 3 lety +8

    Never pluck the greys! You can hurt the hair follicle and those hairs won’t grow back, and you will be bald in areas that you pluck. I rather be grey then bald 🥲
    Also i grey around my temples also.. it’s not noticeable when my hair is down but you do see when it’s up, but honestly I don’t care 🤷🏻‍♀️

    I’m 22 and noticed my first Cana at 15 too! It’s been progressively more noticeable for me at my hair part in the middle, mostly on the right side. I’ve been dying it since 18 until now, also got it through genetics but lately I’ve been embracing it, since I’ve been at home for summer break. I’m hoping I can still be brave to grow it out when I go back to university but thank you for sharing, I feel much better about myself when I can relate to people about this 🫶🏻

    I came into this when I got pregnant for my sun at almost 40. During my pregnancy it just went crazy and I’ve been covering it since cuz it literally went like 50 percent. Too much for me and I’m not trying to embrace til I’m 60 because it doesn’t match my skin or face for me and so I totally understand you wanting to cover it and feel better about it. I never understand anyone who tries to dictate what you should embrace. I tell ppl then don’t wear makeup and stop going to Dr Miami. Embrace that and worry bout yourself. lol Anyway you are beautiful. Keep shining.

    First off... *CONGRATS on 8K!!!* Also, my hair has gotten really thin starting Dec 2019, to the point I just started using 2% Minoxidil (women's rogaine). I was using the Loreal one but like you said it makes it somewhat stiff. What I find that is much better is the Batiste Divine Dark Dry Shampoo Spray. I do have some grays but I don't really use it for that, mostly cuz of how thin it is. So I would give that a try instead because you can still move the hair around easier because it's a dry shampoo. I am looking for more brands as well... anyone who has found something else let me know! Something else you could try for the gray situation is to have them use a demi-permanent color on your new growth. I am a hair stylist and that's what I did for clients who didn't like the harsh demarcation line permanent color has as it grows out. It's important to note though that since it's only the demi will NOT give you 100% full coverage on gray hair. But that's kind of the point, it's a much softer grow out. Something to consider!

    When I was 7 years old I had 3 white tufts, then in the 25th stage it increased 10 grains and in 35 years I have a silvery gray half in front of me but I love it and adore white hair and all the bullies were shocked or surprised, and they are unable to talk about me in front

    I started at 24 now I'm 36 and it is worst obviously but i refuse to go grey. However, more more i have heard that all the products we use to cover them have very bad health issues including developing cancer. Sometimes I feel woman have to go through so much for all the Beauty standard we need to meet and that we are very harsh with each other

    I was only 12 years old when I started getting vgrey hairs and then they turned so rapidly that now i m just 23 and I have almost 90% grey hairs. They are not just grey on the lengths but from roots.. so since then as I was just a kid.. I have no other way to hide then other than henna as my mom never want me to put any form of chemicals.. i have been using henna since then.. and since it's from roots.. i have to apply it every after 7-10 days...
    If anyone here knows what is the right course of treatment for it

    I started growing around 25-26 because of all the stress but I have like these weird stubborn gray hairs that are super so short shorter than baby hairs. They are like one centimeter It’s like 100s of hairs that are new hairs that are sprouting out of my scalp in the very front of my hair. I don’t know how to dye them even when I use dye those are the only ones that don’t cover what should I do?

    Exact same story. They started coming in more during college. I have dark dark brown/black hair too. Starting to wonder if there is something related to almost black hair. I’m now 40, and I color it, and I try not to wash my hair but only once a week. (My hair is dry, so I can’t wash more). It starts to grow in before the next wash. After that wash, you can see color going down the drain. 😱 mine started at the same spot!
    People tell me to embrace it too…proud of those that can…I just CANNOT yet. I dont know when I will. I look young, but this grey is HELL!!! That L’Oréal spray is terrible. It gets sticky and runs in the heat. Clairol came out with a great make up that really works. I hate things that make it sticky. Especially before going to color. I do professional every once in a while. Just to even out all the color fixed. It gets too expensive. I have to do root touch up for 20 mins, instead of 10 mins. It is good, but it’s every 2 weeks! 🤯
    At least you don’t get the dreaded “fence”. As soon as it grows, it’s a fence of grey/black. Sorry you’re suffering with this too. Keep everyone updated if you find another way!!!

    Omg. I have salt n pepper hair also. Everyone else at work are either all gray or all white. In the beginning I hated it but then I noticed salt n pepper hair had more dimension too it and didn't make you look as old, lol. Now I love it! But yours look AMAZING cause your hair is so black! I truly looks great on you!

    I been noticing my greed are showing more I been using L’Oreal root cover or mascara I’m in public I agree hair die be very expensive I just put my hair in a ponytail style is the way I usually wear it when I’m in public so you don’t have to worry about putting your hands on it merged your fingers through it yet because that hair route will transfer it on your hands so that’s just one way cheaper to go with

    So proud of you Sis....
    You gave me confidence....
    I am having grey hair .... it started when I was 14 or 15 years....now I am 22. But the level of grey hair is constant ....not increasing.... because of my maintenence. ....
    I have not used any chemical products ....
    Even shampoo for my hair...lol😂.... as I am from India. ... I use arappu as my shampoo... and also I use henna leaves paste for that natural orangy color....
    It really suits well with my hair....
    Because of these things...I think most of my hair naturally returns black I think...
