My Written Review:
This doorbell comes with 1 transmitter and 2 receivers. This product has been incredibly helpful for me as our original doorbell can only be heard well upstairs and we can’t hear people when they come to visit if we are downstairs. This doorbell enables me to plug in one receiver upstairs, and one downstairs and I can now hear the doorbell ring throughout my whole house. It is great!
About the Product
The Transmitter is battery operated and can be mounted outside your house with two screws or provided 3M strips. It is waterproof and safe for your outdoor use. The receivers work at a nice operating distance of about 1000 ft. There are 4 adjustable volume settings so you can set each receiver to whatever specific volume you need. There are 48 different doorbell sounds to choose from; most are songs.
Each receiver has 2 buttons: 1 for volume control and 1 for scrolling through the different ring sounds. To select a song to use, simply stop on that song and the next time your doorbell rings, it will be to that sound. Each receiver can be set to a unique ring sound, if you prefer to use different ones in different parts of your house. When the receiver is unplugged it will re-set to the first tone, which is the ding-dong sound.
Receivers and Outlet Use
One con to needing to plug these receivers directly into your outlet, for me personally, is that most outlets are low to the ground and this could easily be pulled out of the wall by children. This could become frustrating, as your sound option will re-set each time it is unplugged and when it is not in the wall, it doesn’t sound. Some kids that come to my house to play go around and unplug everything, thus my concern. We have found ways around this in my house including plugging into a higher outlet in our kitchen, and plugging one in the wall directly behind a couch. The sound is loud enough to still be effective even when covered by furniture. That disadvantage can certainly be worked around and the wireless doorbell with two receivers is definitely a higher advantage than that issue!
A Lot of Song Options
I am typically boring and like standard chime and doorbell sounds, so I wish that there were more options of simple tones and less songs. Personal preference thing. There are some songs like “My Heart Will Go On”, for instance, that I really couldn’t see myself ever using. But I do have to admit that some of the songs are fun and will be cool to use certain times of the year. For instance: I love the Christmas songs and I’m sure that I will set those during the month of December. I also like that “Happy Birthday” is on there and I can set that on birthdays for my kids to make the doorbell fun that day. My children do love the songs though and will begin to dance whenever they go off. I like that I have so many choices. Some may prefer the music and absolutely love the selection. My Suggested improvements:
*I would love if this product came with a listing of songs so that you could scroll through more quickly to find what it is that you wanted to set. It would be nice to look at exactly what is available for use, rather than having to go through all the songs every time you want to change the ring tone.
*It would be great if there were two buttons for scrolling through the ring tones, so that you could go forward and back. With 48 different tones it is kid of a pan to go through them all again if you missed what you were looking for. That feature would definitely make the product more user friendly!
I feel that this product is well-made, serves the purpose that it was made to serve, and would be a great improvement to many homes. I am choosing to give this a 5-star rating, despite my suggested improvements because I feel like they are such simple things to make the product more convenient and user friendly. Thanks for the review. Helped hearing the choice of sounds. And I agree that's another reason I'm getting this setup is because I need to be able to hear the bell in two different ends of the place.

At what setting did you have the volume set ?
I believe that I have it set on the highest volume throughout the video. I still use this doorbell and you can hear it quite well throughout the house. I keep it on the high volume unless because I have it in places of the house that it won't disturb sleeping kids. I used to turn the volume down during naptime and it was great.
