I do understand that you are interested in bringing in a Newcastle defender, but the Everton defenders have been quite poor since GW24 with a few exceptions. I was tempted to bring in Branthwaite myself a while ago, but I am very happy I didn´t and I will avoid Everton players the rest of the season. I do see that their fixtures look very good except for the second GW34 game and GW38 which normally should be quite tough. Brentford and Luton could also cause some problems for the Everton defense.

Hey Fran, do you think Sarabia is a good hold? tempted to switch to Eze or even Olise as a differential given that he's back from injury but feel like it would be a waste given that Sarabia has a double? I don't really have pressing issues in my team, maybe just Pau Torres.
I think so, at least until after GW35. If you don't have issues, allow your team to build up to the rest of the season.

there is no -8 tbf. It's just about setting my team up with a defender for BB37 too though
I'm glad I can follow a cc that has only BB left, as I'm in the same situation and with a similar thinking on whether to play it slow and keep Son or go aggressive and sell him to get Eze, possibly captain him too.
I do think playing it passively might be the play - at least that is where I'm leaning for now.
Hi Fran, glad this week treated you well. Us non free-hitters will need to get quite lucky avoid red arrows in 34 tho.
Do you think it makes more sense to go for Olise + VVD or
pick up L. Diaz/Eze + a CRY/EVE defender? (Got 3 Arsenal already in Saka Gabriel & Havertz). I’m wildcarding in 35.
I would go Eze + Munoz for security of minutes and 2 good home fixtures.
I like the eze/diaz + cry def path tbf. Could choose between the two post Atalanta.
Like the look of the risky route. I am thinking of doing the same but leaving Son out until gw37, and maybe doing Salah to Son at that point
interesting. I'm actually leaning to be a bit more cautious since I think LD is a nice differential that most will ignore, just gotta pray he does well
Would you say taking out Haaland this week for Cunha is a good move? I would be getting him back on wc 35 anyway. I have 9 dgw players, except Haaland and goalkeeper; and I cant afford a dgw goalkeeper unless I free up some money from transferring Haaland out

Any idea as to why Doughty came off the bench for 0 points when I had Pau sitting on 6 points in lieu of Ait-Nouri the none starter
It’s because Doughty played. It’s only when a player doesn’t play that it would go to the next bench player. I presume you had Doughty ahead of Pau on the bench?

What do you think of transferring in Dubravka in gw36 for the burnley fixture and to bench boost him in 37? I have a transfer here to burn but worries about Pope returning
once again, depends on Pope as you say. Hard to tell what his status is given we have Howe on our hands
@@FPLFran Apparently he is due back April 27th, however maybe they prefer to just not risk him and stick with Dubravka to see out the season. Seems like it will always present a risk as you rightly say, but could potentially pay off, as it stands I will be doing it

I would also go for the Newcastle defender - great fixtures and confidence is high. Theyre one of the most in form teams at the minute and as you say fighting for European football.

I´m a but skeptical about the Liverpool, Arsenal and Man C midfielders now because the added load of the EL and CL matches seems to have affected both minutes and form lately. What is your opinion about this?
not the first time Pool has been involved in multiple comps tbf. I think we shouldn't overreact too much. Same with Arsenal too, just last week pre Bayern they had absolutely bossed it vs BHA

Really happy with my wildcard in GW30. I'm a bit short this week with arsenal and Liverpool but that doesn't scare me given recent performances. However I'll have triple Chelsea and Tottenham for the coming game weeks, with haaland, Salah and Palmer with plenty of transfers and money to make a perfect bench for gw37
Forgot to mention Gordon never leaves my team and can transfer Darwin to Isak in gw35 👍

My biggest loss was making KDB my captain when I had Palmer
I think KDB captain was a good call at the time. He played 81 mins and they scored 5 goals. Quite surprising that he wasn’t involved in any of the goals. Everton defence is quite good as well so nobody expected Chelsea to score 6

I sold Son and Garnacho for Luis Diaz and Eze (-4); in 35 I’ll sell Eze for Gordon and bench boost; in 36 Solanke to Jackson; may or may not FH in 37. 😄🤞
