Scenic Flight to Downtown Chicago (Cirrus SR22T G1000 SVT)

This is my first flight as a german pilot in the US and also my first flight with a Cirrus SR22T. With Travel Express Aviation I found a very charming family owned company at DuPage Airport (KDPA) to make this possible. Also my CFI Miguel was very professional. We flew on a VFR route to downtown Chicago and did some up and down flying on the coast of Lake Michigan with the skyline of the Windy City behind... just stunning! Must see...

very impressive! I have friends living close to Ann Arbour ... next time I am in the US I will ask them for the way to Travel Express Aviation. Did you have to pass special security checks? I would understand if - after 9/11 - they would be a bit suspicious with pilots from Germany in the US ....
