Gautrain workers affiliated with NUMSA begin indefinite strike over wage disputes

  • Some Gautrain workers affiliated with the National Union of Metalworkers of South Africa (NUMSA) began their indefinite strike over wage disputes on Monday. They've downed tools over a wage hike that they have been demanding from Bombela Operating company since April.

    What does the road have to do with a train?
    South Africans are so quick to strike and set things on fire.
    Why not go to the offices?
    Does the union head get paid while workers are on strike with no salary?

    I beleive poluting the air in my opinion sassa should get a rise you guys get a good salary at least it covers roof over your head and food water and elec what about the elderly whom suffering terrible to survive while you greedy lot shout for more and more in my opinion
