Making the same mistake again and again. Instead of these flyovers and road widening, construction and expansion of the metro needs to take place. Once these flyovers are built, it becomes double difficult to lay metro on that route. This mistake was already done in kondapur with a useless one-way flyover but the govt never learns. Overdoing anything is ultimately bad. Remember,
more roads= more cars= more traffic= more roads
And the cycle continues...
I guess we will never understand the concept of "induced demand" 😫
More cars = More tax.
More petrol = More tax.
More pollution= More tax.
More tax = Better financials for the government.
Also, not every place should be covered by a metro. It has be viable too. Metro can be laid parallel to flyover like in Erragadda.
