yes, he did Parasite and Train to busan. a curious fact is that he and the lead actress later became a romantic couple in a kdrama called Our beloved summer (which I super recommend)

Great movie. Definitely underrated film. Part 2 was good as well. Looking forward to part 3. Korean movies are fantastic. I saw the Devil, The Wailing and The Host, which were awesome.

If you don't watch ma Dong seok (the big guy in train to busan) movies, you're missing a lot. The outlaws, the roundup, also ashfall, man from nowhere.
He wasn't in The Man From Nowhere, though it is a great movie. Possibly the greatest Korean action movie.

after watching it and seeing reaction videos the main plot of the movie to me seems identical to the Bourne series minus the supernatural aspect.. ya'll should watch The Host, its from the same director as Parasite but one of his early films

I think the sync of the English subtitles in the video you are watching are getting out of sync with the middle and late half of the movie. How did you understand the lines when they're so out of sync?
