Thank goodness it looks like you only really have to do it once or twice, then you just repeat an easier motion for the whole rope.

I received the most beautiful prayer necklace about a year ago during God's Grace in me being reborn. It was very inexpensive but a most cherished item to help me. I believe it was God sent for me to find and receive it. When it showed up there was something very special about that entire moment, the cross and rope formed a heart that warmed my heart as I first laid eyes on it. Thank you for the skill care and diligence in creating them. I had no idea how impacting it would. E on .e and have used it daily since. Im not even sure it was from you, but that does not matter. Thank you for aharing, God is good, much love to all!!❤❤

This is the third way of tying the Chotki knot I learned here on CZcams and now my favorite. May God reward you abundantly for taking time to make this video and all your other videos! 🤗 The tips you included are also very useful. Now my knots kinda stay closer together even with a satin rope that is so slippery. May you have a blessed Lent and Easter, all good things and joys!

For paracord or cord enthusiasts, this is the diamond or lanyard knot, just very close together. However, the way this is tied has meaning through both the path the cord takes and the actual function of the end product. Either way will result in a prayer cord. You can find the same thing with buddhism. Prayer cords are for just that, prayer.

Did you figure it out? I had beginners luck, but i try again and kept messing up. The annoying thing is that i was doing it properly, but sometimes the strings were twisted in a way that made me think it was tangled. Now I learned i just have to slide the string and tug a bit harder then it takes the right shape and can be tightened up. So much time i wasted undoing knots that were actually fine
