Dieuwke seems to love horses. I hope Bjarni warms up to the dog to become friends.
Nur wird B. anders mit ihr umgehen, da weht dann ein anderer Wind wie bei Spydie, der sie ja schon sein Leben lang kennt. Jetzt mögt ihr mich steinigen, ich finde Dieuwke manchmal recht respektlos und aufdringlich. Wie sie den fremden Hund bedrängt hat, fand ich nicht ok. Ich weiß, dass das die Hundeart ist sich zu begrüßen aber wenn ich als Besitzer merke, der fremde Hund hat Angst, dann rufe ich sie zurück. Dieuwke ist sehr frei aufgewachsen, konnte tun, was sie wollte und ist jetzt recht dominant. Sie mag noch so lieb sein aber Erziehung gehört trotzdem dazu, gerade bei so einem starken Hund. Und möge nie der Moment kommem, dass sie von einem Pferd oder Pony, dass genervt ist mal kräftig einen Tritt oder Biss bekommt. Wäre Glendy schneller, hätte sie schon öfters mal eine bekommen. Als Besitzer würde ich Wert darauf legen, dass mein Hund auch wegbleibt, wenn ich ihn zurückrufe und nicht nach 10 Sekunden weitermacht und ich würde das auch nicht lustig finden. Verzeih mir Yvonne...
So Stal H now has a Queen and a King! Sounds about right😁. Hope King B settles in and him a Spidey develop a nice friendship. And curious Dieuwke was adorable 👍🌷!

I immediately felt it would be Bjarni! He was lovely as a young horse but good Lord, that dappling is STUNNING. He grew up to be so beautiful!!!
Bjarni turned out to be one hanfsome horse. I like how he still has that big personality.

I loved how Reintje checked out Bjarni, then rushed over to spill the tea to Uniek, then went back over there to tell Bjarni to go away. Then rushed back to Uniek. It was like watching the mean girls in high school with the new cute boy in class! So glad to see Bjarni again! Can't wait to see if he's still "crazy Bjarni". That one video where he's in the arena with the fillies and just deviling the heck out of Jacobein, I think? Worth a watch, or re-watch! It's a good way to get acquainted with Stal H's latest resident. Thank you for posting, Yvonne! And thank you Mathilde for bringing Bjarni over. I hope he and Spidey hit it off. 🥰
Ohh wow, Bjarni is back 😱 When I think of Bjarni I immediately think of Klaske and how he was always chasing after her and teasing her. He was a naughty little colt back then and he changed a lot. He’s very handsome in his dappled coat.

Wow Bjarne is a beautiful Icelandic horse,one of my favorite horse breeds,if I had the money and hobby farm I would buy 2 Icelandic horses,but I cannot afford to buy a farm or these beautiful horses,I only get equine therapy by watching Yvonne's videos and other horse videos on you tube.I wish that I could have hands on therapy and riding horses on a farm in my country and city,but no transportation to go to these therapy horse farms and I can't afford to have equine therapy sessions to be around them
I can't believe how different Bjarni looks now, I do love his dapple grey colour. I hope he's ready to keep up with Spidey. To me Bjarni is even more handsome than he was when he was younger.

Oh my gosh what a huge treat as soon as I heard Icelandic horse I had to double check that I’d gotten it right it’s the one and only BJARNI!!! He’s grown so much since he first graced our screens and captured hearts way back in 2019 and my oh my what a HANDSOME young man Koning B’s become that nickname is quite appropriate,Mathilde you’ve done an exceptional job with him. Bjarni look s like one of my fantasy “dream horses” when I was a horse crazy girl. his name was Stardust and his coat was silver dapple and his hoofs struck fiery sparks as he galloped over the Praries under the starlight. Dreams do come true, perhaps not in the eaxct way I wanted, but I love him already ❤

The dog is NOT happy... He's displaying territorial, predatory, disrespectful, and dominant behavior... Yvonne should correct him IMMEDIATELY when he acts like that, and keep him on a leash until he behaves calmly and respectfully.

What a beautiful pony Bjarni is. I love his gray color and markings. I have only been watching for nearly 2 years so I am not familiar with him. Reintje didn't like him being next to her. Dieuwke wanted to get acquainted right away. She seems to love the horses. I can't wait for this story to continue to see if Spidey and Bjarni will become friends.

They do,but once they've been exported they can never return,in order to protect the Icelandic stock still in the country 🙂

We dont allow them back in :) There are more Icelandic horses outside Iceland than in Iceland itself. And, its the biggest studbook in Germany, believe it or not, most registered horses are Icelandic there...
@@ReibahDarling Diseases, our horses are not vaccinated by choice because there are no horse diseases in Iceland. We only do if there is a disease outbreak or if they are to be exported. Disease outbreaks are extremely rare in Iceland. Some years ago, a tourist brought in a virus with a used bridle, and Iceland cancelled all competitions right away and euthenised 1000 horses who got severly sick from this disease brought in with one used bridle. They vaccinated the rest of the horses at risk and stopped the spread. Now they have dogs at the airport who can smell horse dna and they will confisquate everything suspicious. Tack can only be new and need to be certified sterilised. For 1000 years no horse has been imported, not alive, not dead and not as frozen semen so yeah the horses are super healthy but very sensitive for diseases as they have no immunity to it.
@Reibah Darling Illnesses,parasites,that Icelandics have never been exposed to,so they have no immunity.The same thing that happened to indigenous people when exposed to the illnesses and viruses that Europeans brought with them to North America and South America.

Hi Mathilde 😀😀😀! Bjarni 😍😍😍! I can remember him being a tiny liver chestnut wrangling who liked to annoy the fillies 😂😂😂! He's now a handsome steel grey stallion or gelding 😍😍😍!
I definitely think that Reintje recognised his smell, but she was like, "I DON'T fancy you - go away 😠😠" 😂😂😂 ! I hope that Bjarni and Spidey get on well and have loads of fun playing together 👌👌👌!

Think that Bjarni very much liked his new home. He walked around checking out everything, nooded with his head and started eating accompanied by the dogs. 😊 Reintje might need a bit time to get used to him and felt that she had to make sure that he understands that she is the boss, but I am sure that they will make it. The ponies were really excited when he came into the stable. They all will have a lot of fun.

This boy is really handsome with the dappling, but Reintje though curious in the beginning turned her back on him. Think you have to assimilate gradually.

Anyway, is Bjarni a gelding now who thinks like Sjors he's still a stud or is he intact? The mares are in heat every year. Yvonne said long ago that if a mare isn't covered every year, she has to have the uterus flushed. I used to worry about the mares on the wild, open plains who are on their own and wonder how they fare out there. Of course, they're not Friesians. Just thinking out loud. Thanks for your Bjarni observation. He's a live wire, for sure! And that's what Yvonne wants at her stables, so she must be going to arrange play dates with the shettys as he's still fertile?? Glendy doesn't seem to "take" so we'll see.

Seriously, I had no idea who he was, just thought he was an extremely handsome boy!! Bjarni definitely grew up from a sweet rascal into a stunning young man; I also love dapple grey horses. Wow! I DO remember Bjarni! He was more of a brownish chestnut with a blonde mane and blonde/brown tail in his foal coat. His adult dappled, grey coloring and beautifully streaked mane & forelock is not something thing I would have ever expected! He’s really beautiful and has grown a lot since we last saw him at Stal G. I hope he and Spidey will turn out to be great friends! ❤❤❤

So funny reintjes reaction, she asked for help to uniek, her leader. Bjarni wanted make friends, but reintje was telling: let me alone, go away. Of course she did'nt recogniced him, because of his color.🥰
You know you're right ~~ Reintje was checking out Bjarni and nipped his right neck area; then she turned for the final decision to Uniek; apparently, Uniek told Reintje to ignore Bjarni, finally, Reintje spurned him.
Uniek is still running the show. Yvonne said that, though his color was different, they would remember his smell. You think Reintje didn't remember his smell or didn't recognize him because of his color?

I didn't recognize him at all and I certainly would not be able to discern his "smell." I think some barn workers do recognize the distinct smell of the different lineages in their care, though.

I remember Bjarni from older videos and it's great to see him and Mathilda again. Wasn't he a bit reddish in colour? Dieuwke was really excited about having another friend. He was kind of dark brown, with reddish tinge, lighter mane and tail... He was cute, now quite a beauty!
