Something that wasn’t mentioned that I love is the soundtrack that plays during the cycle. It’s a very nice touch
I couldn't hear it over the air cylinders.
I have Swingshot at my home park Kennywood, also done Finnegan’s Flyer, Skyhawk and Tidal Surge. The larger ones are definitely superior, the more sustained forces kick it up a notch.
I agree the better forces help.
Perfect placement at BGT. They needed a solid flat ride in that section. The identical model at Sea World San Antonio, on the side that faces down at the water, feels more thrilling though, and somehow the SWSA ops have been faster than the BGT ops when I've ridden these at each park.
I do like the location at SeaWorld better.

It’s a fun flat ride. I’m glad the program is shorter it’s pretty intense.
All screamin' swings unfortunately have short cycles.
The Screamin Swing at Moreh's Piers is my favorite because of the views, but Serengeti Flyer is a close second.
That is a great setting for one.
Agreed that they need to find a way to make the cycles last longer, this would be one of the best rides in the park - period - if they could just max out the duration.
Also, I was at BGT for 3 days in early January and they were only running one side on all 3 days. (Thurs-Sat)
That's unfortunate. It has run both in my visits.
S&S make some really great flats. I really miss SFNE's Catapult, despite the restraints being horrific.

I remember the first time i rode this. My mom and i got so sick and had to take a 1 hour break. A kid also passed out next to me on this ride!

Based on my personal tastes, I bet I prefer the Glenwoood one. I preferred the Liseberg one since it swung off a hill, albeit a much smaller one.
@@CanobieCoaster Rumor has it that Cylcone at lakeside and Sidewinder at elitches are going to be running this year. Combined with the drop tower at glenwood caverns opening, think well get some colorado content? I really wana hear your take on water world too!
I would give the nod to SWSA’s as the placement over the “lake” is incredible.
That is a better setting in my opinion.

It looks like a fun ride, but I don't have any plans at this time to get down to Texas this year. I'll probably wait until Cotaland is open.

For me, it was fun and the wilder setting made me dizzy the first time
It can be disorienting facing the sky like that.
@@CanobieCoaster It's that + floater. Same thing happened my first few times on Mako. Rode it 7 times in a row and it left me disoriented and at a list of breath
Unfortunately, this was the one ride I didn’t ride when I went to BGT. It had a VERY long line all day😢
