Hello Sir kahit international student and OWP entitled na sa free healthcare? pati po ba anak if dadalhin jan entitled din for free healthcare?
students d po entitled sa OHIP. May insurance kang babayaran sa school nyo sis. Si OWP makakakuha sya OHIP after 3 mos waiting period.

Mas malamig pa siguro dyan kesa d2 sa pinas na amihan lang tuwing December to February 13degree Celsius nga lang sa baguio sobrang lamig na ehh..hahaha sa canada pa kaya wahaha naalala ko sa baguio ung sm dun walang aircon haha.tapos dun sa hotel sa baguio ndi ko matapakan ung tiles kc sobrang lamig kailangan naka medyas kapa..para makatapak sa tiles.hahahaha

Hello Have you heard about TRV with study and work permit? This is suggested to me by my immig consultant. Is it same with student visa?
hi sis! TRV po cannot be converted to a study permit as far as I know. You are only allowed to visit Canada, not exceeding a 6 month stay, unlike a study permit po na temporary resident ka for the entire duration of your study. there are a lot of people with TRV who applied for SP and OWP.

I am not sure why they wanted you to get trv (visitor visa) first before Student visa.. It is an entirely different application and visa altogether. would you like to be a student here? If yes, then get a student visa instead of a tourist visa..

pwd naman po kasi pag hourly ka 2 weeks ka lang pwd tapos pag salary ka 3 weeks. no work no pay d2 heheh
in terms of work, bawal petix po, sunod sa break sched.. basta work is work po. then sa leave, you have naman tulad sa Pinas na vacation leave. you can use it pag naka-1 year k na sa company

hello to both of u... khit ba student p lng ako n punta dyan ksma ko 2 kids ko may allowance kya cla and then kung padadalhan ako ng pera dyaan babawsan b un pra sa tax.
yes po meron silang allowance pag naka 18 months na kayo. walang tax ung dadalihin niong pera dito

Hi! never akong nag-apply TRV. Canada is my first out of the country experience..MY study permit comes with a work permit nit because I can work 20 hrs. kasama n un sa pagiging student. I have work permit kasi may coop ako on my 4th term (OJT)
Thank you @Ms. Eileen. Sa online application po kasi sa CIC merong part dun na you have to download your Co-op letter. Does this mean that once mareceive ko yung visa sa Philippines meron na sya automatic na work permit? Yung iba ata pag land na sa Canada ibibigay ang work permit?

I am pretty sure they will since malaki kinikita ng Canada sa mga international students😊 but due to covid, medyo mas mabagal at mahigpit lang processing.
sis, both study permit and work permit will be given once nag-land ka dito sa Canada. But your VISA coming here will be of student, not worker.

Ano po ang mga dapat pa pong dalhin na documents bago pumunta ng canada po. Yung hindi po usually nababanggit. At advisable po ba na yung mga hulog sa philhealth, pag ibig, sss ay kunin na po ng buo??
