Trains at London Kings Cross, ECML - 23/12/16

- In this video I visited London Kings Cross, the main terminus of the East Coast Main Line. Services are seen here by Great Northern, Virgin Trains East Coast, Grand Central and First Hull Trains. Here at London Kings Cross was Scouse Trainspotter 1999, JD The Trainspotter, The Trainspotter04 and Greater West Spotter.
I really enjoyed this station. The station itself is absolutely beautiful with an amazing canopy, very welcoming staff and one of the best station layouts I've seen. Services were at a premium here and it was great to catch a Great Northern 387 for the first time as well as the on hire Class 90 for VTEC. Definitely will return here.
My next station is London St Pancras and this will be uploaded on Saturday 31st December.

Super film Kieran, always love Kings Cross, staff can be a bit dodgy but can always get lots of services lining up at the same time which leads to great photos, like from me as always Kieran, keep it up mate

I think the 9-Coach VTEC Azumas will be extended to 11-Coaches but platforms of stations across the East Coast Mainline including King's Cross, Stevenage, Peterborough, Grantham, Newark, Retford, Doncaster, Durham, Berwick and Dunbar will need to be extended.

I've seen a few class 91s have been changed around with also the 1st class coaches aswell the dummy loco would be on the rear coming into kings cross and the class 91 would be at front coming into kings cross ! keep an eye out for this as their is a few
With through rails linking the East Coast Mainline with the South Coast the VTEC Trains could run services between Edinburgh, Southampton, Brighton and Bournemouth.

Oliver Blake what services do you typically do? It's pretty cool to do some train driving on the ECML, a great route Imo
I mostly do London - York and Newcastle as I am only trained for electric trains, but sometimes I go to Edinburgh
