I'm a person with 173 cm height and physically a lower one but this bike is my dream now. I want to own this only on the basis of the fun I will receive. As you said we have seen more Interceptors and GT is a little underrated, this is also a reason for me to own this one in the future. Want to experience something different and also as Royal Enfield describe this bike in the term "A TON OF FUN" sounds very much different. I was never ever fascinated by bikes in my entire life but this was the first one which took my heart, in all bike segments this is my first love and I hope to own this in a few months ❤❤

Mileage: Ente vandi aake 1500km aayullu. Aduthulla ottathil 28 vare kitti. Njan rash aayi angane odikkarilla. Pinne vallappozhum onn kai koduth parakkum. So athayirikkum tharakkedillatha mileage. Kai koduth odikkunna settanmarkk Strell paranja pole 18-20 okke kittum 😂. Highway 32-35 vare kittum. So mileage um athra mosham alla. Comparable to D390 or Dom400.

I own a Himalayan BS4 non abs version. I experience the same inaccurate fuel reading in that too despite being an analogue unit. It appears the same issue plagues the entire RE lineup. I reached out to RE mechanics and they were clueless as to how to fix it. If someone loves to cruise at a sedentary pace of around 85-90 kmph, its lovely! They do sound and feel better as they age, like a fine wine...:)

85-90 is not a sedentary pace in Kerala though.On all highways within Kerala you will be fined for overspeed at that speed. And mahn,the charges are hectic that one won't repeat the mistake again.

When RE showcased this engine and bike, being 5ft4in, I never thought am gonna owing one. I loved motorcycles from childhood and was not that much experienced with high capacity bikes. My upgrade was from Honda Stunner to Interceptor 650. And this was my first bike with my own money which was a dream come true to me. I always wanted a twin and my first choice was Street twin. But Interceptor's VFM made an easy decision. That engine rumble is eargasmic for a Indian made motorcycle. Done rides from Bangalore to Trivandrum, Hoganekkal, Rameswaram, Chikmagalur all with my wife (not solo).. still i can't get enough for this machine.

Being a GT 650 BS6 owner, I would like to point out one mistake regarding the service interval. 1st service is at 500km, then every 5000 km thereafter. Also the gearbox gives false nuetrals for me atleast. Looking forward to your new videos.

Once I saw a video of a drag race btw gt and a 390 and there also aa gt kk nalla oru tank slapper kitti, and it was really scary. So when ever I ride or as a pillion I always try to avoid these white lines especially when the road is a bit damp. So should I consider this as serious as I am.?

@@dhanraj1339 as already mentioned in the video, the position is pretty aggressive and will time to get used to.. the difference is unlike other aggressive bikes, GT has no kits and it's heavy, so slight back pain or wrist pain will be there initially.. but once you get used to riding the bike, you can go for long rides..
I have went for 2 long rides.. initially it was tough.. but once I got used to it, there was not much problems..

My opinion : If you guys are buying a bike for around 3.5 lakhs Duke 390 is the best choice 2nd interceptor.If you can find a very well maintained used one 2017/2018 and newer it offers much better value.

@@alanalan355 Duke 390 is a million times fun bike .Yes it is not so refined , sure it's not made to be one the bike has a different character. Only ones who can understand and use it can enjoy . It is way more powerful better handling with much better equipment. Interceptor is a laid back bike , It is way less engaging than Duke 390

@@alanalan355 It is ridden in a different manner . The ones who prefer such riding will enjoy . Interceptor is no special motorcycle . It's a good motorcycle and I like it for what it is . The riding manners of d390 is in a whole league ahead

@@alanalan355 be it in the twisties, the track or if you are learning to do stunts , The 390 is a gem. And also in city riding I prefer 390 way more , there weight is more important than low end . If you know how to maintain the revs it's easy . I have ridden both in all conditions and I much prefer 390 over interceptor in any situation . The only area where the interceptor comes neck and neck is in highway cruising ,looks and sound.
