Absolutely fantastic and informative review, I have just purchased one of these in yellow 250w 13ah for getting to and from work 12 miles all round, thank you so much for your review.
That’s a great review and thanks for taking the time. I really like this ebike but concerned that it’s not big enough for me at 6.0ft. Do you think this would suit a 6.0 footer?
Beckett I've just bought one and it's a good bike I'm having a few little problems but the shop is going to fix it tomorrow. This bike feels li!e a 500 watt bike to me it flies and I can get 40 miles out of the battery. Ive also got a 1000 watt bike and this bike isnt to far behind it just don't expect it to be set up perfect when you get it.
@@ptronix thats champion Ive got an old mountain bike had it thirty years plus and need something that will help with assistance on the hills so was very interested at the end of your presentation to see the hills you had been cycling
Yes they didn't have to give me all those extras. Particularly useful are the spare inner tubes. I cary one all the time and think I could swap the front one on the side of the road if I had a puncture. Not the back one though. It's a decent bike, I've done 2100 miles so far and it's probably almost paid for itself in not using the car so much and the savings on diesel
Great review, very helpful thanks. I've got my eye on one of these too. Can you remove the battery to charge it or do you have to have the bike next to the charging point?
Thanks, yes you can remove the battery, its got a lock on it & comes with 2 keys, I've done a recent video showing a ride i did up some steep hills if you're interested
@@ScragNath Hope you'll be happy with the bikes. They're not perfect but good for the price. Yes think that was the store I ordered from, mine came in 6 days!
You have given me the most information I've found anywhere. I'm pretty sure the model I'm looking at is a variation of the model you have. Different brand but I think that's just a matter of stickers. Could you please tell me what model of battery your bike uses?
Alright mate. Brilliant review. I'm having trouble with the error " E 007 " and sometimes " E 009 ". The motor makes a funny noise and the power is intermittent. I've checked the connections that I can see but can't see anything wrong. Any ideas would be much appreciated. PS it's brand new and was delivered yesterday.
Thanks, I've just checked on the m2 display file I downloaded, error 007 is motor malfunction. 009 is console malfunction, whatever that is! Sounds like you have serious problems. Get in touch with the manufacturer, they're very good at responding. I initially had brake error code. Which I've never seen again. They responded within a couple of hours. Good luck!
@@ptronix cheers friend. I bought two for my partner and me and mines is the only one with problems lol might swap them during the night 😆 thanks anyway mate.
i got the same bike as yourself, Have you noticed anything dodgy with the shock absorbers? i.e. leaking grease from the seals... and also have you noticed the front wheel rubbing against the mudguard when turning? I noticed the front wheel is wobbly. Even though it is very tightly secured with the release bar. But when I take the front wheel off the bike, I notice the release seems to move as if there are no ball bearings inside where the bar goes. Also after riding 70 miles on the road and light gravel, my pedals have given up. The ball bearings are gone, so I had to replace them with new ones. Feeling a bit disappointed with this bike, but on the other hand, the customer service so far seems very helpful to suggest different tests. But that is not a fix, so for now I have my bike sitting inside and I cannot ride, due to front wobbly wheel since I got it, and the dodgy shock absorbers.
Thanks for the comment. I've now done 130 miles on the bike and I've not had a shock absorber problem, very small amount of oil on the tube which I assume is normal and they appear to work fine. I didn't install the mudguard as they seem cheap and flimsy and I've never had mudguards on my previous bike. No problems with front wheel I've taken it off several times and doesn't wobble indicating the bearings are fine. Pedals are also fine bearings seem good. One problem I had when riding down really steep hills the front brakes were jerky depending on the wheel position which was quite alarming when you're going fast! I tried adjusting the brake pads which made no difference. So I came to the conclusion the disc must be bent or warped and this was confirmed when I took it off it wouldn't sit flat on a flat table, so I compared it to the spare disc that came with the bike, this was perfectly flat. So I put that one on the wheel and now brakes nearly perfect and I think any minor uneven braking will "wear in" after a few hundred miles. All in all I'm happy with it, what it'll be like over time I don't know. But it is a fairly cheap bike and I think its value for money. No shop round here would sell me one for less than £2000! Best regards Nick
@@ptronix thank you for your reply.. I guess I will have to get in touch with the seller to see if I can get the replacement parts to get the mentioned problems solved on my bike.
Hi Andy, it comes partially assembled. You have to install the front wheel and the handle bars. Also the display unit. In my case I needed to adjust the brakes and the gears to make them shift properly over the full range of the 9 gears on the back wheel.

Hi, its performing very well. Done nearly 900 miles on it now. I've even bought a 2nd battery for taking on long rides. I get about 35 miles range on each battery. It makes getting up the hills round here so easy! One annoying thing, have to keep adjusting the brake pads every week or so. But that maybe a common problem with disc brakes. A couple of punctures. A bit stressful getting the back wheel off because of the wiring to the motor! When it arrived and after assembly, had to adjust the brakes and gears ( there's to many, 7 on the back would be enough) and it's not high geared enough most of the time I'm in the highest gear and could do with one higher.
