- I wanted to do something more with my images from Keeler, California, so I designed a zine containing twenty of my favorite images, plus a written introduction. Printing a limited number of these, so check out the link below if you'd like to get one! Once they're gone, they're gone.

maybe you could do a video on the process of creating the Zine...
I received my copy and it is lovely. Surprisingly good quality for such a modest undertaking. However, my copy is not signed. No need to do anything, just thought I'd mention it.
Very cool! Looking forward to receiving my copy. I’ve really enjoyed seeing you share your process. I even worked with a woman with the last name of “Keeler”. She knew that I frequented the Eastern Sierra for travel/photography. She told me that her great grandfather founded the town of “Keeler” and even named the streets after his girlfriends. I can’t verify these claims, but they made for good stories. Keep doing what you’re doing! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
So sorry that I missed the opportunity to get a copy. Any chance of another printing? I would have to agree with several others in the comments that a video of the zine process would be great, and very much appreciated. Isn’t Keeler a fantastic place?
SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!
Seriously, I’m so glad you decided to make a zine out of your Keeler photos. I watched the video with my room mate (also a photographer) and he was just as amazed. And while I really enjoy your traditional landscape work, a zine specifically about Keeler just makes so much sense to me, because it is its own story.
Ugh,,, missed the cut off. Would have loved to get a copy of this.
BTW, can you do a video on how you made the zine. How you had to prepare the photos? What software you use to edit the photos for the book, software used for the layout of the book, etc.
I'm so excited to get my copy! Love from Ontario!
Purchased. Loved the video.... Honestly-I'm a little jealous. I've had loose ideas for a photo project surrounding LA's water history but I have never put anything into action. Your video already inspired me to start clarifying how I might approach such a project. Thanks!
I agree with @MDanceInc about detailing the process for making the zine. At least you could put up something by having your fingers dance across the keyboard. I have my own project that could use a bit of guidance. What a great idea. By the way, the videa ain't bad either! Be safe.
Interesting video. I found out that Julius M. Keeler, who owned the mill, was a distant relative of mine.
I'm stoked to get one. =)
The good old Desktop Publishing days ... I so feel you - it was fun, though. and highly appreciated skill back then ...
Which printing company does this type of photo booklet? Love the idea.
Geez! I thought you were going to tell us where to get one made of our own images.
Just ordered the zine. I enjoy all your vids and your images are my fav of all the yters I watch. Can you reveal who printed the zine?
I loved the photo with the swimming pool and the mountains in the distance.
What vendor did you use to publish the book, Todd? It looks really nice.
Placed my order, thanks for producing it and offering it to us.
Hi Todd. Really excited as I bought a copy of the zine. Can't wait to get my copy. Love your work and videos!
Shoot. I just found this video. Think you might do a second run?
Very happy to have just purchased one, Todd. That video was beautifully done, and the images were gorgeous. I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of it, and now I’ll be able to hold a physical momento from that visit. Thanks, Todd. Peter, from Australia. 🦘
Well said, Peter. Where are you in AUS?
@@rogerbrooksfilmsHey, Roger. I'm about 30 minutes north of Melbourne.
SWEET! Very much enjoyed the video of Keeler and images are great! Nabbed one of the zines.
Ordered and thanks for putting this out. I really enjoyed the Keeler video, the pacing, music and context provided for the photos. Also a few shots I really loved, especially the Cadillac photo where you had the tripod raised high (interesting behind the scenes perspective).
Just ordered mine and looking forward to receiving a copy. Congrats Todd!
Loved the original video … ordered a copy … now impatient :)
Done! Really looking forward to it and so glad you decided to go this route with it! Cheers!
Ordered. So glad I saw this before they sold out.
Love your work and style.
You inspired me to watch The Postman. Your video reminded me of that movie and I have been wanting to see it again. It’s a great movie btw.
Ordered one before the video even finished! Really looking forward to it!
Just ordered. So so ready. Thank you
Just ordered one from here in Japan. Keep up the great content, Todd!
Looks beautiful, can't wait to check it out.
Just ordered it. Looking forward to it!
This looks great!
I did something similar in design for print in my previous job. Quark (on MacOS 8 and 9) was king.
Ordered mine!!! 😁
Just ordered!
Are you going to print more?
Who printed it?
Greaaaat!
Todd - Darwin CA. Close to Keeler...equally as interesting if not moreso. Just saying.
You're welcome.
I ordered my zine and look forward to it sharing space on my bookshelf with my copy of the Nick Carver zine.
