  • Happy Friday everyone, thanks for tuning in. With all the behind the scenes videos we have been uploading for you guys, we noticed a lot of comments about Peter's huge warehouse studio, so we thought we would give you a tour :) Sorry this is a long video, Peter likes to explain things as he's walking around. As explained at the start of the video, this is 20 years of hard work, blood, sweat & tears - a studio like this filled with a bunch of photographic toys doesn't fall into your lap overnight. This is also a commercial working studio, for Peter's clients he needs this level of gear and this sized studio. We hope you enjoy the tour!

Peter Coulson, my hats off to you for putting all the "haters" comments aside and for being the better person and SOOOO GENEROUS by sharing the experience of what Profesional Studio is and looks like! So many of us will never have that experience we can only imagine but thanks to this video now we know. In my experience too many times many of us let our EGO get into our heads and focus in our insecurities and short comings. Gosh, becoming an Artist like yourself does not happens over night, none of us know what your journey has been before getting to where you are. You are too kind Sir, may life bless you with tons of good health to live your best life and share it with us!

So many people make excuses for the successes of others which give them an unfair advantage but it is not a question of circumstances, talent or equipment. As with anything else in live it comes down to having clear objectives, determination, discipline and lots and lots of hard work. As I have said before Peter is one of the greatest ..... and this video helps us understand a little better the road to his success. Thanks Peter.

I had to comment on this, yes you can get great shots with natural light and average equipment, but being able to have a studio like the one you have built up over the years is something that all of us would love to have. It makes things so much more convenient and I feel it is a BIG factor in getting a shoot done at the speed you do. You have your tools all right there, you know those tools well due to working with them so much and so can very quickly do your job. So of course I would love to have what you have, however I do also understand putting in the hard work, burning the midnight oil and to keep working at it and one day you will have it. So good for you to have put in the effort and work and to have what you have. I really enjoyed watching this.

The older I get and the more I shoot, I realize it’s the simple things that make my life easier. Big lights…modifiers…expensive lenses (aka - toys) and yet you pointed out a million times “Everything is on WHEELS” for portability. It’s things like that that stood out to me. I love the fact your studio is organized messy. Any other way and it’s speaks volumes to what someone is about to walk into. Love the studio.

I’m absolutely blown away, this is one of the most amazing videos I’ve ever seen. I can see the dedication, determination and sheer hard work you’ve put in to your photography to get where you are now. I’ve mention on other video’s about how cool it would be for you to be my teacher but after seeing your studio you should be running top seminars in there or even have a teaching school because my mind is blown seeing it all and I think I’d have to do 7 days a week just to learn the equipment never mind have time to learn the skills and techniques. I love photography and kind of got in to it by accident as it was something I could do while I have had a back injury and it takes the edge off not being able bodied as I can do 5 minutes or maybe an hour if I’m messing about doing so macro shots while sat. I never knew how much it meant to capture a snippet of time that can generate so many different emotions by pressing a button and when I’m not taking shots I’m reading or watching videos to give me inspiration, ideas or just to learn. I’ve watched a few videos of the”photography masters” but they all seem to want to sell me something and I never get that from certain photographer on CZcams I just get great information. Thanks for your great videos Peter, please never give them up. Thanks David, Uk.

I think it was built in part as a tax write off. that 3.3m (10' to us Yanks) reflector is amazing! i liked how you used it in "does size make a difference".

Beautiful studio, looks like you have all you need to create anything you desire. Thank you for the tour! Wish I could make it to the Orlando workshop, maybe some other time. I really enjoy your videos, the asthetic of your images, and of course I love the Bec shirt and her personality as a host. Have a wonderful, safe, and successful tour in the states.

This video is simply amazing... just as Peter is.
