I was lucky enough to see the exhibition before it closed. Fabulous art, and very important as illuminating that period when Anglo-Indian relations were more mutually respectful. Shukriya!
Absolutely outstanding collection. Those Indian artists are not well known but they were great masters of their art.One would have to struggle a lot to find parallels anywhere else in the world.
They are nowhere close to the great masters. This might be the best work of Indian artists but this is not even slightly close to the Western classical arts. You are highly exaggerating it.
