    Salamun alaykum,
The problem is Muslims understand the Quran based on a biblical construct on the basis of it being an Abrahamic faith. While brand islam critiques sunni muslims' dependence on the traditions and hadiths, those narratives adopted biblical concepts, stories and themes that according to the Quran, are absolute lies (18:5, by the people who said the Almighty had begotten a son). However, these biblical themes and concepts remain with the Quran alone propagators. A careful and thorough inspection of the Quran as a standalone document would therefore uncover truths that would be nothing like what they wrote in the so-called bibles. The Quran stands above all else and should not be subject to any other literature or beliefs. Once we understand this, the Quran will yield its secret treasures.

Humans tend to look for God in other humans because they cannot see God. Sadly muslims have shifted the centre of islam from the quran to the life of Muhammad and his companions. Likewise the christians have shifted the centre of christianity to the body of Jesus.

Very interesting as always, woke my mind up and brought it into peace and alignment finally. Quite intriguing, how the Quran repeatedly says in various verses including 45:6, in which narration (hadith) after the Quran will they believe? And how Sam pointed out that many people hold to all kinds of narrations (hadith) that are not quranic, ie the hadith
What’s even more scary is how in 45:6 the verse says, “in what narration (hadith) after Allah and his ayats (verses) will they believe?” Ie after the Quran
And then the very next verse reads in 45:7“woe to every sinful liar”
So 45:6 is a rhetorical question that we are not meant to answer. And anyone who answers yes to it, ie believers in other narrations in addition to the Quran, God is calling them a sinful liar in 45:7, so essentially God is saying anyone who believes in any narration besides the Quran alone is a sinful liar as far as knowing what to do to save your eternal soul, the Quran is enough, anything else seems risky and forbidden, ie it’s sinful to make anything divine and mandatory in addition to the Quran, only the Quran is divine

    Nice reminder.
I don't think Islam or Muslim mean Submission or Submitter. It is a bit more nuanced than that. Since I have never read or heard anyone translate Salamum Alaykum to mean "Submission on to you", I don't understand why people keep saying Muslim = Submitter and Islam = Submission.
Even in Hebrew, before Prophet Muhammad, and to this day it is said: "Shalom aleichem" which they say means Peace be upon you.
Islam = To be at Peace (with God)
Muslim = Someone who is at peace (with God).
I can even accept "Peaceful acceptance" as long as the peace component is there. It's important because there can be no compulsion in The Way. Someone who submits out of fear can still mean Muslim if Muslim means "Submitter". Being in a state of peaceful submission/acceptance with God is an entirely different thing. Maybe that is what you eluded to when you said its a state.

For each truth there’s literally countless alternatives. What began as One became Two. The muḥkam of scripture was unanimously agreed upon (first generation believers in Qur’an regarding a plain exoteric reading of scripture). The muḥkam are the cornerstone building blocks for both the individual and society. Impossible to corrupt early on. On the otherhand we have the mutashābih. There isn’t any convincing evidence the mutashābih even caused division amongst believers in early Islam. Life was for living, believers fulfilled their duties. The mutashābih is for personal reading or those with a specialised insight and knowledge for other purposes. Politics (power) and wealth corrupts. Within 2 centuries of the Prophet (عليه السلام) death, chaos ensues and the struggle for the nations soul begins. Many groups were formed, many others stamped out. It’s difficult to know for certain what took place. What we do know is during the Umayyad and Abbasid periods, the political powers began back projected their narratives and biases onto the Prophet (عليه السلام), Qur’an, companions, to justify their aims and actions. The muḥkam just became easier to corrupt via these later inventions. 1200 years later, we have 12 centuries of Islamic Star Wars in sectarianism, aqeedah and fiqh.

I tried to gently talk about the Quran verses and was immediately told that we can’t understand the Quran alone because it needs years of learning and we need the hadith to understand the Quran but even then we can’t understand the Quran or hadith without either being explained by scholars. I’ve studied the Quran for five years and by Gods grace and mercy I haven’t found difficulties in understanding. But many traditional Muslims project the responsibility for their own guidance onto others, hardly use the Quran for guidance relying on hadith and block themselves from the Quran by denying that it has the capacity to guide them. They block themselves from reading the Quran, beyond Arabic recitation without pondering, and turn away from the Quran ordering others to turn away from it subhanallah… ironically I was told that it’s dangerous to read the Quran because I would be misguided to follow it alone and become a kafir. The irony didn’t evade me

This is so basic it is said. The Muslims today will say sahadah because they follow the last prophet. Abraham wouldn't have said the shahdah because he wasn't following Muhammad since Abraham was a prophet himself before Muhammad. Anyone that followed Abraham would have had to testify Abraham was the prophet at that time.😂😂😂. This is an example of when people decide to speak with little knowledge 😂😂😂

Technically prophet Adam preceded Abraham, and God didn’t ask Abraham to pledge his witnessing of Adam’s prophethood.
Muslims are not tasked with “following” prophets. They’re tasked in following God’s rules and submit their will accordingly. That’s the point the ummah is sadly missing.

Then put each of them on a hill; then call them; they will come to thee in haste. And know that Allah is Mighty and Wise.’
Besides the afterlife, there is reference to 4 nations that shall rise and fall in ways know to Allah:
    1. Nabi Musa was a Great law- bearing Prophet sent for the tribes of Israel with commandments and verities of wisdom that was suited for the Children of Israel at that stage of spiritual and physical requirements.
    2. Prophet Isa (Jesus’ peace be upon Him) was the Messiah sent by God to guide the various Tribes of Israel according to the true teachings of the Torah and with the Gospel. He came about 1300 years after Prophet Musa.
    3. The Holy Prophet Muhammed is the Last Great law -bearing prophet sent for the whole of mankind with blessings of spiritual guidance and signaling physical/ economic/ secular/technological blessings.
    4. The Promised Messiah Nabi Ahmad was sent by God to guide people to the true teachings of the Holy Quran. In the time of the Promised Messiah there are various spiritual blessings and signaling physical/secular/economic/technological blessings. He arrived about 1300 years after the Holy Prophet.

Allah Ta'ala has promised to Preserve the Quran.

Over 30 times, Somethkng resembling La ilaha ill Allah occurs in Quran- never once associating a man’s name w the creator. The only time it is found to bear witness to the prophet as a testimony , is found in surah munafiqoon.
63:1 When the waverers1 come to thee they say: “We bear witness that thou art the messenger of God.”2 But God knows that thou art His messenger, and God bears witness that the waverers3 are liars.
Also numerous times we can see in the Quran that Allah says the prophet was no more than a messenger and clear warner and upon him was only the notification.
46:9 Say thou: “I am no new thing1 among the messengers, and I know not what will be done with me or with you. I follow only what is revealed2 to me; and I am only a clear warner.”
22:49 Say thou: “O mankind: I am only a clear warner to you.”
      26:115 “I am only a clear warner.”
29:50 And they say: “Oh, that proofs1 were but2 sent down upon him from his Lord!” Say thou: “The proofs3 are only with God, and I am only a clear warner.”
38:70 “It is only revealed1 to me, that I am a clear warner.”2
51:50 “So flee to God! I am to you from Him a clear warner!
51:51 “And make not with God another god! I am to you from Him a clear warner!”)
67:26 Say thou: “The knowledge is but with God; and I am only a clear warner.”
71:2 He said: “O my people: I am to you a clear warner:
7:184 Have they not reflected? Their companion is not possessed;1 he is only a clear warner.
      Only the notification/warning:
3:20 And if they argue with thee, then say thou: “I have submitted my face1 to God, as have2 those who follow me.” And say thou to those given3 the Writ4 and to the unschooled:5 “Have you submitted?”6 And if they have submitted, then are they guided; but if they turn away, then upon thee is only the notification; and God sees the servants.7
5:92 And obey God and obey the Messenger,1 and beware;2 but if you turn away, then know that upon Our messenger is only the clear notification.
5:99 Upon the Messenger is only the notification; and God knows what you reveal and what you conceal.
16:82 And if they turn away, upon thee is only the clear notification.
21:106 In this1 is a notification for people who serve.2
24:54 Say thou: “Obey God and obey the Messenger.” Then if you turn away, then upon him is what he has been given to bear, and upon you is what you have been given to bear. And if you obey him,1 you will be guided. And upon the Messenger is only the clear notification,
29:18 “But if you deny, then communities have denied before you; and upon the Messenger1 is only the clear notification.”
36:17 “And upon us is only the clear notification.”
42:48 And if they turn away - We sent thee not as a custodian over them; upon thee is only the notification. And when We let man taste mercy from Us, he exults thereat; but if evil1 befalls them because of what their hands sent ahead, then is man ungrateful.
64:12 And obey God and obey the Messenger;1 but if you turn away - then upon Our messenger is only the clear notification.
“Say thou: “None will grant me protection against God, nor will I find, besides1 Him, a refuge
Save notification from God and His messages.” And whoso opposes God and His messenger, for him is the fire of Gehenna; they abiding eternally therein forever.” - 72:23
16:35 And those who ascribe a partnership1 say: “Had God willed, we would not have served, besides2 Him, anything - neither we nor our fathers - nor would we have forbidden anything contrary to3 Him”;4 thus did those before them. Then is there upon5 the messengers save the clear notification?
The rasool only spoke of and followed & judged bt what was revealed to him. And he only called using the Quran.
[17:46] We place shields around their minds, to prevent them from understanding it, and deafness in their ears. And when you mention your Lord, using the Quran alone,* they run away in aversion.
Does it not suffice them that We have sent down upon thee the Writ1 recited to them? In that is a mercy and a reminder for people who believe.- 29:51
3:78 And among them a faction distorts the Writ1 with their tongues, that you might think it from the Writ,2 but it is not from the Writ.3 And they say: “It is from God,” but it is not from God. And they ascribe the lie to God, when they know.4

What’s shirk is the baggage that typically comes with “following” the prophet according to most Muslims. Hadith Qudsi for example literally claims to be the words of God outside of the Quran!
Not to mention the piles of Hadith that directly contradict the Quran. One of which is how the prophet will intercede for Muslims’ forgiveness on judgment day.

@@revertcoach818 I agree however I am not saying to follow them all I am saying to consider the ones that don’t contradict the Quran and have good sources. Not to reject them all but not to accept them all.

Even as Allah asks us, "Then in what hadith other than this (Quran) will you believe?"? Strange. A healthy fear of Allah, has me having a healthy fear of hadith literature. Sorry, if that is offensive. But it seems rather clear that we were warned against the collections of hadith books that would come, a few hundred years before they did. Look at us now. Are we really expected to believe in and defend what Allah has warned us away from?

@@Khal03 Hadith just means book. Does that mean you won’t believe anything in any other book? As long as you don’t take Hadith as the same authenticity as the Quran you are fine.

You are clueless, our friend in humanity. Ibrahim, aleyhi salam was a muslim, meaning, he submitted to the Will of Allah, as a matter of fact, every prophet and messenger and their followers were muslims.
Islam means, to submit, to surrender, to the obedience of Allah, to free yourself from shirk and its people.
In the Sharee‘ah of our beloved Prophet Muhammed, sallallaahu alehi wa salam, is to testify/witness that there is no one worthy of worship in truth except Allah and to testify/witness that Muhammed is the Messenger and the slave of Allah. This is the shahadah. Islam is built upon 5 pillars and the first one is shahadah.
Come to religion of all prophets and messengers, leave the hatred aside, and save yourself.
Your Lord is One God. Not 3 in one or 1in3, a pagan belief propagated by paul and the Churc fathers who were influenced by the Roman pagans.
    Greetings from Scandinavia.

These man made religions and practicing shirk are the absolute worst, don't you agree? Peace and may God bless.

I don’t think you watched the video. You cannot justify what you wrote from the Quran

Dude, the so called religion that you refer to and the sharia that you talk about is all man made not based on the Quran.

You said, "Islam is built upon 5 pillars...". It's funny, when trying to check this, I could find no reference to these 5 pillars in the Quran. Did someone introduce shirk to this so-called submission to Allah?
