The Munchkin, considered the original "dwarf cat," is as adorable as they come. These cute cats are distinguished by their extremely small legs, which are the result of a rare genetic abnormality. Despite the fact that the breed is controversial, and the CFA (Cat Fancier's Association) has yet to formally acknowledge it, specialists have given these cats a clean bill of health, and the genetic mutation does not result in any major health difficulties for the breed.

Please adopt a normal cat from a shelter. Too many cats in shelters..... And munchkins will get a lot of healthproblems later in life.

I don't have a munchkin, but I do have a cat that's dwarf sized. He has some Bengal in him. He's also orange with white paws. Also, he has orange eyes & Siamese shaped ears. Anybody know what breed this is? 🐾

@@orgonitehealingnl4431 I understand 🙁but could you be more specific? 🙏 This is honestly the main reason that’s preventing me from getting this type of cat - because just the thought of these poor cats potentially being in pain etc due to their breeders/small legs etc. is just very sad 😔I really wanted to get two of these cutie pies but after I heard about their potential health issues I felt it would have been irresponsible like I cannot support breeding like that. But I’m curious if you could be more specific in terms of health issues they face according to you/your research & the likelihood (%) ?
