Mel should become a series regular and get to travel in the tardis again. Best character in the finale
She was AMAZING! Her era was when I was first getting into Fandom, and whilst she was generally not seen as a popular companion, she played a great character and it's been wonderful to have her return. I absolutely agree - she was the star of the finale!

This is fanservice done right, both in service of the plot, but still allowing those who care to pause each scene and pick out all the easter eggs.
100%, i'm a super new fan so i pretty much only recognized 4s scarf from watching pyramids of mars in preparation for Sutekh's return and they managed to include a lot of subtle references without people like me feeling like we're not getting something, but it must be so fun for the people that did recognize stuff in there!
Yes! Easter Eggs for the sake of just having them takes you out if the story. (See: the Flash movie.) But this was brilliantly done.
@@RonMotta1972Kinda sad some people misunderstand the point of fanservice. Itâs a nice little bonus, yet some people tend to mis-prioritize it as the main gimmick and then panic when there isnât enough of it while there is an actual gimmick and story to invest in..
It was also great as someone who has been keeping up with the other things in Who, so if you were like me you'd immediately clock the "Remembered TARDIS" bit and realise "oh, Tales of the TARDIS used a Memory TARDIS" and immediately guess that they would be using a variation of that interior as Ncuti walks in and sees it. It's a nice link between the special stuff & extras, kind of like An Adventure In Space & Time did with Matt's Cameo

Honestly the memory tardis is a lovely time capsule of all of doctor who and its absolutely lovely how much care and attention to detail there is
I am so happy that Mel got a proper chance to shine. Bonnie's wonderful.

It genuinely makes me so happy to see Bonnie, seeing her get all excited and nostalgic just makes me smile. The moment with her and Colin's coat actually made me a little weepy. I grew up on the beginning of the revival, but the classic companions mean so much to me and I'll never get tired of seeing them again.
Mel's addition to the episode was the best since she's been back! đ
I didn't even notice McGann's TARDIS arch! God this TARDIS is a proper tribute. this is beautiful!
As someone who designs sets and props for theater and hopes to break into something like TV or movies, this is the DREAM. I don't usually think about it in the actual show because I can't tell how much is real and how much is effects but knowing that this entire thing is real just makes the creative cogs in my brain spin, I wanna make something like this so badly
Many of these props are so old that VFX was beyond the budget. They had to use real props, repurposed.
The trolls of the series may never know the love and care put into this.
don't forget the hater's who won't see it over complaining about their hate for the show in all sorts of ways.
To be fair they've done some dodgy stuff since 2017, but this is not one of those things. There's a lot of cool stuff in the new series and hopefully they use the Remembered Tardis again soon

Bonnieâs performance and Melâs interaction with the Doctor were the absolute highlights of the two episodes for me, Bonnie was a powerhouse of emotions, and so much more than just an 80âs screamer! I just hope we see A LOT more of her in the future!!!!!

She might I think russel is using her like he used Sarah Jane Smith in his first eara, but since Mel probably won't get her own spinoff show since she unfortunately wasn't that popular she will most likely show up everytime unit does

The Happiness Patrol poster!! I knew there would be a slew of stuff in here that I couldn't possibly spot. Love how RTD planned ahead and the Memory Tardis wasn't just a thing for the Tales of ...but actually originated in the main show , we just didn't know at first. Timey Wimey! As they say.
Bonnie was a gem in this series. Please bring her back, FREQUENTLY.
A memory Tardis is such a lovely idea, I particularly like how the ceiling rotor is lit to create internal reflections. I wonder if thereâll be a toy/model of it that people could collect the little âmemory charmsâ for.

This season blew everything out of the water. Ending was a little rushed but it was a great season. The memory TARDIS was such a nice touch. It really connected all the doctors together and it was just fantastic
Honestly the team behind all the set design and customes deserve mych more credit. They knocked it out of the park this season.

It's too small to run around in, ha-ha! đ But you could definitely spend an hour combing through every nook and cranny.
This would be fantastic as a virtual reality version where we could all look around, open the drawers, pick stuff up and look at it. In the early days of the Internet the BBC had a lot of detailed archaeological pages, you could go around the inside of an iron age hut. A Tardis like that would be Amazing â€

When they've done with the Remembered TARDIS it'd be great to put it on display so Whovians can visit it, like the touring exhibition in... I want to say 2005, but I could be misremembering, I am ancient! I'd give my eye-teeth (which I still have, so not an empty promise!) to see it in person. I know we wouldn't be able to rummage around in it, but just to look inside from behind a rope barrier would be great and most of us would really appreciate that. Please? Pretty please? Pretty please with a cherry on top? đ

@DoctorWho it would be AWESOME to have a virtual walk around of the Remembered Tardis on a website somewhere. I know other franchises have done it before, but it would be so perfect for the Remembered Tardis since it's not a big set but it has SO MANY details that a hi-res camera can capture đ„°
This set is gorgeous. The sheer effort that went into it is amazing.
I really love the memory tardis! It's so cool seeing all of the various references and bits and pieces referencing Doctor's Who's history. It's amazing how much care, attention and detail went into making this. I hope we get to see this more!
It would be cool if someday we got a proper TARDIS interior for a future Doctor that was a mishmash of past interiors. (Might have been a cool idea for Tennant during the 60th anniversary specials, then Ncuti could have changed to the current "desktop" for Ruby's entrance into the TARDIS at the end of the Xmas special.)
I don't know why, but that places looks proper cozy! Not spacious like a regular TARDIS interior, but it is snug!
I was looking forward to this tour, I kept pausing that scene for so long to try and identify all the easter eggs!
Such a nice touch adding in the remembered tardis. A real treat for the fans and so nice having Bonnie being part of it. You can tell so much love and attention to detail went into putting the set together
Ah... Bonnie Langford. When she was with Doctors 6 & 7, I felt the writers never really knew what to do with Mel.
I feel that Big Finish, on the other hand, finally did Mel justice and made me into a fan. I think the BBC books classic Doctor series also helped with that too... there was no Bonnie Langford involvement in that.

Bonnie Langford was superb in Empire Of Death. Her decent into possession by Sutekh was incredibly well-acted and quite scary.
Someone (or someones) had an awful lot of fun putting this together.
This broke my brain for a bit Realising there are/were 3 tardis in the universe as apossed to the usual one... so cool
Love the memory TARDIS, designed really well. In fact it's more Doctory than the new TARDIS design, which looks like an airport terminal. I hope they use the memory TARDIS again.
Honestly I had hoped itâd been this, just a bit larger so they could have a bit more movement.
I like the new inside but itâs just too big. It needed some furniture like McGannâs (not to the extremes) Or Smithâs.

I await the glossy coffeetable book detailing the contents in all their glory, inch by inch.
I'm gonna be honest, i watched some of her episodes in classic who and I thought "oh this character is so annoying" but the way mel's character is written now is really really better and I love her !
I also like that doctor who unlike most shows or movies, gives strong and badass roles to women over 50yo. Because multiples studies have proven that in movies, most characters played by older women are either senile or unimportant to the plot. Unlike older men who can be adventurous and do cool stuff
I hope they'll cast a sprightly and mischievous older woman as the Doctor in the future.

My favourite TARDIS.
Trying to freeze frame through it to see all the little things was challenging. But it is my favorite sequence. And I did notice the roundel from Jodie's Tardis.
I do kind of wish Tom Baker got more of a call-out. If it weren't for Bonnie commenting on the iconic scarf, his name wouldn't have gotten a mention at all.

My mum loved the classic series, so obviously watched it when it started back up in 2005. I got to grow up watching this wonderful show as a result. Seeing the remembered TARDIS was such a joy, and made me feel so many wonderful memories from my childhood. Thank you, RTD!

I quite liked Mel in this era of Doctor Who a lot more than when it was her original run. I think she has leveraged a lot of her well-earned acting experience and just made a great re-entry into Doctor Who.

This series was by far the best since the revival. Every episode was written and acted to perfection. Iâll go as far as saying this is the best Doctor Who in history!

Personally I think I prefer series 1 but that's because 9 is the best nuwho doctor, and I think it's about tied with 3
I loved the remembered tardis and what they should have done is leave it with David tennant's doctor in the end or have the curator fly it off to put in the gallery maybe mat Smith pops in and goes this I'll use to start off my museum and flys off in it
Great to have Bonny/Mel back in Doctor Who. One of my favourite companions from my childhood.
I could just pop in and nerd out at all the stuff in there like I did when I went to the Time Fracture immersive experience and did the same thing on the UNIT base. đ
I think that they need to bring K9 back for the 15th Doctor maybe upgraded from the last time we saw him. And if they ever brought him back give him legs so that he can actually walk like a dog.
