Nissan has been using that 13” infotainment screen on the Nissan Xtrail (the overseas version of the Rogue) for a while now. I don’t know why it took them so much time to bring it to the NA market, but I’m glad they did.
This is one of the rare instances where I disagree with Bembli. Make no mistake. I really like the design of this current generation of the Rogue, and the 2024 refresh looks good. However, IMO, I actually prefer the exterior styling of the 2021 overall. This new grill seems elegant, yes, but also derivative. It reminds me of a lot of other similar designs. (Take the 2020 previous ten Hyundai Tucson for example.) I think the V-Motion grill was more distinctive and simpler.
BTW, I'm pretty sure that the only real difference on the interior is the new, larger infotainment screen. The previous years also had a tan leather color option that looked pretty much identical to this refreshed version.
I agree... I prefer the 2021 exterior front end! It looks more rugged in '21... It looks more car like in '24.
Looks good. I like it. Bet it looks even better in person.
The screens did not go down in size, the 2023 S, SV, and SL all had a 8" screen. The SL with premium package and the Platinum had the 9" screen. For 2024, the 8" stays the same on the S and SV, and the SL and Platinum get the 12".
The Nissan rogue is in the uk called the X trail
The middle east too
Alot of nissans have different names depending on the region
Like the Armada/Patrol
Sunny/Versa
Qashqai/Rogue Sport
@@the_gamer_m7 yeh same w Mazda cos we have the Mazda 2 n that’s called in other places the Demo
Yea, and they were using that big infotainment screen already.
Wait is the gas tank on the opposite side now?
The interior is nicer but I completely disagree about the exterior (front especially)...I think this 'updated' one would keep me from getting one....was also very impressed with the current gen upon release
old/current grille looks better
Couldn’t stand the chrome front. Glad that changed, but that CVT is still poor compared to Honda. The split Hyundai headlights are odd. At least it looks good on the new sonata, but Nissan’s interiors are way better than Toyota or even Honda.
2024 version looks awesome ❤
nice
Has Nissan improved their cvt reliability recently compared to previous years?
Yes they have, the new cvt in this rogue has a steel chain belt, and two fluid pumps, making it a whole lot more reliable. I work in the service area at a nissan dealer and we haven't gotten a single car with a cvt issue from the new 2021+ rogues.
@@Foxinaround242 any other issues?

The divorced headlight design trend needs to end.
Only brand it looks good on is Genesis
Agreed!!
And Genesis isn't technically the same since the two strips are both the leds and the headlights.
Right! They need to make like my parents and get back together. Tired of divorced things 😂
@@Brian_Eugene_LeeI’ve told you on multiple occasions to stop making the SAME comment on every single car video about Nissan’s CVTs. You need to get checked. That obsession is not normal. It’s concerning, dude.
@@RRLV434🤦♂️😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆
I just disappeared no hybrid version
There is one but unfortunately not for the U.S. market. A big mistake, IMHO, since a hybrid Rogue would be a big seller.
No cvt for me. 7 grand to replace 😅
Nissan cvts are specifically bad, my mom had an 09' murano that blew its CVT at 96k miles, but her 14' honda pilot is still going strong at 162k (also has a cvt). My brother has the FWD version of my car (B8/2012 Audi A4) which has a CVT instead of the dualclutch, his car is up to 112k miles and still great to drive.
It looks more like Hyundai Tucson now
I don’t see it

Looks like a previous generation Hyundai
Looks the same as fifteen other cookie cutter small suv types.
The previous Rogue is much better looking, imo. The refreshed one doesn't look like it came from Nissan. It looks like somebody just tweaked the front end and bought an after market wheels.
To me it looks more like the second version of the last gen Rogue (the one with the flat fog lights) which I loved.
The wheel RIMS look awful. The current Rogue is far better
Ugh.. not appealing to me #Nissan. A buyer since 1991, nothing except the #SkylineGTR do I want from them. Their #transmission killed it for me and their focusing on SUVs sucks heavily in my opinion. The late 80s to early 90s was their best time period... I hold onto my 5th generation Maxima that I bought new and that design and mechanics hold onto today.
Agree had 91 Maxima got 300000 miles an was still running when I sold it real transmission back then cvt cost to much to replace turbos as well
They nailed it. They made it uglier than ever.
Nah, I think it’ll look even better in person
This design is for people who paint their house bright green including the doors and windows to match.
I ll not comment on this..............i m not a HUGE fan of suv cars 🤐
Unnecessaily messed up elegant front end and also extended with similar ugly protruded bumber that we see in current infiniti qx80 and nissan armada.. they should have just stopped with interior infotainment change in the interior..worrying they may mess up current pathfinder's elegant look as well during refresh next year though they provide updated infotainment
IMO: it’s grotesque
….the rims are nicer, but that face!! Ooof. What a dog
Agreed!
Might look good but it is still another s**tty Renault
For me is the complete opposite, this restyling is awful and theses changes make it feels *downscaled*
They added more details, more lines, more shapes, *more more MORE* and I think that's a huge mistake, it makes the design looks *busy, messy and overall cheaper* , the previous design looked cleaner, more confident and because of that, more upmarket.
*This is a clear example that less is more*
Maybe it looks better in person. I remember people saying they didn’t like the 2021 design, but then people changed their minds when they saw the car in real life. I think it’ll be the same case this time.
I think the old design benefited from the boxier lines, there is alot more conflicting directional/curved lines on the restyle.
