@CoyoteSwapEverything yeah but the owner of that GTR called out hellcats from a roll specifically. Incase you weren't paying attention in this video boosted luckeys car is a mid 8 second car. To run street class at Texas 2k you have to be faster than a 8.499 1/4 mile to enter and he confirmed at the end of the video and within the video that was the goal of the day. By the end of the video he said "it was a good ass day" despite the car getting hot and not knowing why but if everything goes OK with how much more they need to do to dial in the safety measures that the car will be running tx2k. Today confirms the challenger does qualify because he said as long as everything goes well...... like as long nothing breaks or burns up but it is already qualified. They just have to work the bugs out without any setbacks
My vote is the challenger at this very moment but that GTR can be turned up easily without so much safety risk of the car not going in a straight line. The challenger on the other hand is risky as hell with nitrous included and on the street. So I really wouldn't count out that GTR. Likewise I am GTR biased but the Dodge of his isn't no slouch from a roll, which we haven't even seen it from a roll with the new 3.8 Whipple he put on it, and I could be wrong but I don't really know he ever roll raced the last Whipple with the nitrous added on top with his runs. So were talking a big difference for such a heavy car. I already know how fast it is from 60 to 130 without the nitrous at this very moment, but I'm gonna keep my mouth shut on that. Stupid fast

Man I wish whipple brought back the gen 2 4.5 liter whipple , and could see lucky put it on his w/the nitrous. I remember seeing a few 1500 hp hellcats with the 4.5 and a built motor without spray, I wonder why they don’t bring it back it seemed like the numbers were ahead of recent gens 🤷♂️

@@johncena-hq1ti yea that sounds about right. From what I remember it was a 426 with the 4.5 around 1500 for reliability purposes from what the gentlemen and tuner agreed on. I’m guessing turned up and w/nitrous then maybe close to 2k hp numbers?
